For anyone interested in a little pop cultural 90's nostalgia, Smashmouth are heading to Aus in october touring a New album but will be playing plenty of their greatest hits including Walking on the Sun and Alstar.
i don't remember a 90's teen flick that didn't include Alstar from the late 90's
this is about the old forum, not old, shit music

Myself and Parra Power Scotty were at the Tahs semi on Saturday and we decided to conduct an experiment.
The thesis: do rugby fans like beer showers?
The results: a emphatic no!
We've had season tickets to watch the Tahs games this year and every week, we've had to put up with this group of knobs that call themselves 'The Superfans'. These people dress up in superhero capes, masks and even wear undies outside their pants. They couldn't be real superfans because they always showed up after the game has started. They even attempt to sing songs like the tune to Raiders of the Lost Ark (without words). So with Saturday being the last Super 12 home game of the year, we decided to give them a parting gift, as only us football fans can.
Now of course, at a football game, it is customary to through your beer up in the air after your team scores a goal. So we waited for the right moment to launch a amber liquid drenching. Scott had save a half full cup of beer (he said he wasn't going to waste a full beer on those turds) and we decided to do right at full time.
So with the ref blowing his whistle to end the game, it was now the time. All the superfans were facing the ground and had no idea what was about to hit them. Scott launched his cup and it was weighted perfectly. The cup stayed upright until its descent, when on cue it seemed, it tipped over and drenched a couple of boofheads smack bang in the middle of the group. The reaction was, needless to say, 'priceless.'
Now these people know that we've been giving them strife all year and suspected us right for the time of impact. At first they had this confused look on their faces as if to say 'What the f*ck was that?' But after a while and a superfans 'huddle', they pointed straight at us. Our response? 2 cheesy, drunk grins and thumbs up to 'em as if to say 'You've deserved that all year, you w@nkers!' We then hung around till the players arrived and as we left, we both cracked up in laughter at these morons.
Now you're probably thinking 'What's the point of this thread?' Not much really. Just pointing out one of the many differences between football fans and rugby 'superfans'.
Superfans: go back into the cave that you emerged from, you oxygen theives!
