30 very chilly minutes out at Warners Bay at the weekend
I understand and applaud your ability to rotate the camera in order to achieve the effect you have with the stars.
However, may I ask how you managed to keep the jetty still?
I shot this at the old Newcastle Police Station last year for an exhibition and as part of a uni subject.
Was my first shoot with agency models.

So doing some more "testing",method works well.So i`ll try it at more suitable locations rather than next to the bins in my street.

Quality SB.
And again!
attn: photo wizards.
i be going to peru in september. i want to take a bunch of pictures & find the perfect photo that i can transfer to a mega-sized canvas on my wall at home. something like this:
http://i1259.photobucket.com/albums/...24-23760-0.jpg
but a picture taken by me. chances are i'll end up choosing one of machu picchu, something like this:
http://i1259.photobucket.com/albums/...hu-Picchu1.jpg
but i 100% want to take the pic myself.
what kind of camera setup should i be running (keeping costs as not-high as i can) to get a decent enough quality picture that won't look really awful in such a large print? is there a certain quality of camera as a minimum i should be looking at?
thanks in advance

I'm not a wizard. But
You do need some skill. Photography is not easy.
For what you are wanting to do I would highly recommend a Canon G1x. It's basically a camera like mine but without the hassle of carrying lenses around.

Oh yeah there is a trick to it as well.
You don't wont to get good at it but still good enough to get some nice prints. Otherwise it becomes an insanely expensive hobby or a career changing experience.
