Overall doing alright mate.
Pity clarke cant catch at 1st slip, still an imposter
anywhere johnson did the job wd
Aussies back to being the bullies of international cricket. Who is packing their bags for home next?
dont believe the hype. India are the bullies
What's a Virat?
how good was the england team at the airport.
Pieterson "i can't hear you"
marcus has gone a bit quiet...
Nah mate, as explained I've just pulled up a bit sore after another big innings on the weekend. Can't remember the exact score, I usually tune out once I get around the 120 mark.
Might jot down some thoughts on the test tonight. Coach wants us to go to a video session this arvo, apparently we are studying the Austrailan middle order.
Shouldn't take more than about 6 minutes.
:rof: a mate just told me about this

As a long cricket tragic it says alot that I had to look up where "Warriors" played - T20 is just bogan filth that I ignore for A-League (however, the opportunity exists for Mel fapping this season).
Just read that Warwickshire CCC is now the Birmingham Bears for T20 !!!
Is it just me...I'd watch test match cricket over T20 slapathon anyday as I would a decent boxing world title over a UFC lay down beside me crapathon
No - it is most long term cricket fans....like many things in test cricket, that second session on the second day will be remembered and talked about for years.
T20 and to a lesser extent, 50 over are like a chinese meal and are quickly forgotten. But they get the bogans through the gate.
It is the intensity and history of test cricket that makes it superior.
agreed. not that big a fan of boxing or UFC though.
UFC>Boxing
Refer to Mosley V Mundine
I haven't seen the Mosley Vs Mundine fight, so can't comment properly on it, but from all reports it wasn't anything to write home about.. All hype, no substance..
UFC>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Boxing..
I love a villain, but he is just a dead-set reach-around..
You are correct though, he can bat..
Ian Chappell has asked the ICC to tone down the sledging otherwise we will see "fisticuffs" by the end of the series.
Firstly....bring it on !
Secondly....Ian Chappell practically invented modern sledging !
I don't get it..
For years Clarkey has been slagged about being a wimp and that he is too metro, concentrating on his hair/tattoos/wooza more than his captaincy.. etc..
Then he fires up for his players (I think it was Anderson having words with Bailey) followed by the now infamous "break his fvcken arm" comment, suddenly he is unsporting and its awful..
What a crock of sh!t..
As Jetmaster said "bring it on"...
When I was talkin bout a decent world title boxing matchup by NO means was I referring to an old and unfit Mosley V Mundine....Be like watching a test match of Zimbabwe against Bangladesh
What time does it all start today?
And anyone got a good audio streaming site? That other one that Grim posted (i think it was Grim, a lot of effort to go one page back to check) isn't working today..
EDIT: Scratch that question for now.. It would appear I've gotten a bit premature and realise the game doesn't actually start for another 45 minutes.. I'll check back in to complain more if I can't get the damn thing running by then.. :deadhorse:
11am here.
Ergh... that's what I meant. I should know, being a future Adelaide resident and all :(
In other news, my sister in law is working on the catering team this test match.
Well, England lost the toss.. We are going in to bat..
Aussies win toss... surely even our batting line up will score runs on this road!
I take it back, Grim..
The link works!!!!
For anyone else that can't be bothered going one page back to get it: http://www.cricket.com.au/live/audio-stream
marcus north would lap up these conditions
honestly this is a 500+ first innings wicket.
Yeah, it's a bit ridiculous. Should revoke test status at Adelaide and move it to Bellerive, absolute road of a pitch. Good thing England didn't win the toss, would have declared at 3/600 sometime late on day 3.
choosing 2 spinners in modern day cricket (besides india) is such a risk as well, you basically are taking a 50/50 shot at batting first and hoping the wicket deteriorates enough.
Either that or they realise that the match will probably end in a draw because its a batsmans paradise. Play the extra spinner to take load off their two main men, Broad and Anderson.
They go to perth next week and need those two firing to stand a chance of beating us!
Nah, England can win this easily enough. Just need to not play stupid shots like us. Warner, ffs, you mong.
