Griezman doing his best Roy impersonation
"3 dirty points" as Klopp said it in his presser. Wonder if Diego Saltione showed up for his?
Or maybe he just kept running down the tunnel and on his way to Eng-a-lund so he makes the Anfield game in time on foot.
Naby lads volley. Phhooorr.

Go to 6'40" when Chris starts doing the player rating for Trent.
:brrr:
Hook, line and sinker :rof:
Is this Ole's last stand?
Takin' the p!ss now. Empty seats.
One for the ages.
Surely he ain’t got long left. The footage of people leaving the ground after Pogba, after 60 minutes.
Haven’t seen any replays but I thought Fernandes challenge was almost as bad as Pogba. Anyway, enough about them.
Bossed it.
Konate looked a little out of his depth. But hopefully some more game time and he will get match ready. Few turnovers and thought he was a bit slow for the Ronaldo goal..
Mo Salah. FMD. He is playing out of his skin.
Hendersons ball was class. Mo did that the other week and only got 70% of the praise Messi would get. I reckon Henderson got 50% of that.
Can’t wait til TAA scores a Worldly. I swear he must make the highlights reel of every keeper saving one of his shots.
How anybody understands what Robertson says is beyond me.
The best bit. Cameras panned from Ole, to a miserable SAF shaking his head, to Dalglish laughing.
Good day to be a pool supporter.
Salah became the first opposition player to score a premier league hat-trick at old trafford.
Least we either lock down a brilliant player or get a hefty transfer fee at the end of the season.
Hope he stays. He’s probably at his peak for another 2 seasons imo.
Also understand if we sell him, just hope we have replacements lined up.
Well, at least Preston gave us a game.
Taki with a good first touch.
Divock Origi - can the man not be involved with a goal that borders on the bizarre or freakish?
Wow.
From every angle I’ve seen it’s a harsh red.
Feel like we see those challenges all the time, and usually a yellow, sometimes they get away with such a challenge.
Curious if it is because he never played the ball. He was beat, and he kicked out at the trailing foot with his studs. Perhaps usually those types of challenges are ball or all (player).
Pundits made a case that the ref was happy to give a yellow but got the shits with the player ignoring him.
apparently UEFA have said it was a straight red and the dissent had nothing to do with it
I was puzzled at first glance too. Watching replays, with Mane gone and maybe the 'shits' factor in there too, it bordered on SFP to begin with but that ref is quirky.
Game bossed.
If we tank the Porto game, Porto just needs a draw v Atletico on Dec 8th to go 2nd.
The Group of Death would suddenly become the Group of Mirth. Much mirth.:rof:
Porto is doing 'ok' in their league atm, just quietly.
How was Thiago's goal this morning!
Still can't work out if it bounced, or swerved up?? Was a magic hit..
This one says the best view...

Now, THIS one is the best view IMHO. 1:22

This Post-match interview with Thiago and Ox is funny.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3P0FhE7o5Y
Ox's reaction: "Whaaat? That's alright for some...innit, hey?"
Divock Origi. Only him...
The Liverpool enigma strikes again!
Thiago Newcastle’s best atm.
Controversial equaliser.
Henderson being a little whinger this game. I don’t mind it when he tries to lift the standard. But he’s battling with Thiago for most turnovers this game and in no position to be blasting other players this match.
Scuppered by covid n a fat fk in the middle.
Did OK with the old and young boy in midfield all things considered. Thought Ox would have been a better starting option that Morton. The kid has vision. One to watch.
How did Kane stay on after that hit on Robbo?
The Jota forearm shove - was that even looked at?
Dumb from Robbo in the end but the nobs at Stockley Pk are probably already on the Christmas Cheer after that effort.
Tierney was dolling out the cards with abandon but forgot to give himself 2 x yellows.
I’m not against Robbo getting a red for that. But I feel like Kanes lunge at robbo was more out of control.
Maybe the malice was factored in. Looks like robbo loads up to kick 7 shades of shit out of whatever he gets his boot on. But spurs guy protects the ball and moves his leg over as robbo is swinging. And contact is made, so not much complaint from me.
Kane slides in, studs up, collects robbo above the ankle, gets a yellow.
Slow that down and freeze on the contact point and how is that not a red too?
Things aside, how is Kane beating our defenders for pace. We looked so slow today.
I’ll take a draw v spurs. Could’ve gone either way though. Could’ve been flogged and could’be taken a very early lead.
Allison does well for 9/10 saves then does that.
He’s prone to 1 or 2 a year. 3 pts behind city at Xmas. Not bad. Especially considering UCL dominance and with a different midfield combo every week.
Jota is almost beating a fully fit Firmino to that starting role isn’t he.
Tuned in at 3-1 down.
Glad I did. Mickey Mouse Cup, but boy, that atmosphere sounded amazing.
Always have a little chuckle to myself when teams start time wasting, and it bites them.
I tuned in a 3-2.
Mixed emotions about progressing but the players really looked excited so they see value in it.
I watched it from woe to go.
Gave them 2 goals start...twice and the kids got the job done.
Ahem...yes, we had to send in the calvary.
Shame Minamino couldn't complete the fairytale ending for himself but it added to the spectacle.
How many of those Leicester players won't be playing next week?
Good outcome if we plan to use it to get some fitness and/or form into our players.
Was a good squad put out I thought for the game. Henderson, ox, minamino etc. good to get them some minutes. Will do minamino a world of good either in confidence or add another 1M onto his price. Same with Kelleher, good for him.
I’m interested to see how Firmino bounces back. He’s never been under any real threat at any point throughout his time at Liverpool. Even when he wasn’t scoring, he was still getting a lot of praise for his link up work.
But now Jota is scoring a heap, I’m curious what our best front 3 looks like.
I think they both offer different things, but in terms of pecking order, 4th pick Jota is creeping up to number 3….
Congrats to city.
Pfft. Salah playing according to the status of that contract.
Mane missing in more ways than one.
Too much Christmas pudding?
Play the kids ffs!
Great game but Anthony Taylor bottles it again. Mane should've seen red
Cracking first half. Only winner was City.
Think Mane was saved by his eyes on the ball. He must’ve taken a realllll early look, but his eyes don’t deviate from the ball. I think if he looks at azpi, it’s a red.
Think Mount was also in a bit of danger. I think it’s Jota blocks the camera angle (and the blue rose coloured glasses) of the contact from mount on tsimikas but I daresay it looks like he’s gone forearm into face of tsimikas as well. Not to mention the little afters on the ground.
Mendy and kelleher were excellent imo. Mendy made some brilliant saves. Kelleher also kept us in it especially vs pulisic. Kovacic goal was a good example of placement over power.
Henderson, Milner and Fabinho would have to be the least creative midfield in the league imo.
As a neutral I have to laugh at Chelski's business model.
They had Lukaku, De Breuyne and Salah in their silo, all got loaned out and all including Lukaku last week have come back to bite them.
and all that cost?
Idk. Each to their own.
Can’t argue with Stanny’s list of accomplishments. But it’s still funny to hear comments about how lucky we are to have Salah or city to have De Bruyne etc. But that’s bound to happen in todays climate.
I give a guy at work some grief for “supporting” city, how boring it must be to just win every game.
Part in jest, part serious.
Winning the UCL and League and our general performance for the Klopp era has been an absolute pleasure to watch and wake up at ungodly hours to take in. I wonder if that’s because we had to deal with the 20 odd years of no league title, and some pretty poor seasons as a benchmark.
People give me grief for following Liverpool. As long as I started following them and watching matches, they didn’t win a thing and were a mid table club that lucked out with Owen, Torres, Suarez, Coutinho. But those bad times and heartbreak of the slip make it much sweeter.
Same as the Leicester fans who got to witness something they never thought possible. They’ll remember that forever.
But it’s interesting and got me thinking if there’s many players that we have sold or that left, who went on to bigger and better things.
I’d argue Suarez, Sterling and maybe Wijnaldum, Alonso, and Can are the only ones who we have had in our squad and let go. The rest Eg torres, Sturridge etc all went downhill
What the hell is going on with covid at LFC? 13 false positives for covid? Something shifty going on to play as little games as a possible without Salah
Lol.
I can’t imagine the EPL (or other salty clubs lodging disputes) not asking to see proof of the positive tests.
But you know, maybe they are compromising a doctor to falsify information.
Don’t know that we would be too fussed with a carabao cup game tbh.
We’d at least try and do it in a EPL game that maybe had some bearing.
The blokes at RedmenTV nailed it when they said it didn't pose any advantage at the time. Same amount of games had to be played in the AFCON time frame and we actually lost that 2nd leg home advantage in the Cup.
Sad to see the end of Benitez at the Ev.
Does this mean the end if Farley's 'Agent Rafa'?
I've looked forward to his clips with every disastrous result.
Did anyone catch the Rafa chant from the Kop this morning?
