I guess he has brought it on himself but if that foul is on anyone else they give a red in 2 seconds

Taggart would have made that 2-2 with a chip
thankfully taggart doesn't wear that shit blue.
stuz saves blushes
Bit his own knee I heard
well that was shit, played about as well as the Jets did, similarities with the Moses miss/Hull's 2nd
lol and they think a top 4 finish is possible.
That Suarez bloke plays alright.
First Liverpool player ever and first Premier League player to score 3 hatricks against the same team
Luis Suarez is a good player.
beast.
Performance somewhat makes up for the Hull disaster.
I get the feeling that Joe Allen's shot earnt him another chance. Otherwise it may have been curtains.
Mignolet is looking alot more confident on the ball. Hopefully he has been working on it. If that continues he will be unstoppable and he can play the Reina sweeper-esque ball-playing role.
Henderson - I really like having him in the midfield. Brings so much energy and somewhat compensates for Gerrard's lack of defensive duties. And helps Suarez and co press when the time is right. 9/10 times he chases them down and forces them to play back. His shooting could be improved though :P.
I think Gerrard should've come off at 60, give the guy a rest. We need to start managing him a little bit better. Especially when we have 3 games in days. Unless he's planning on resting him for West Ham....
Johnson is incredibly underrated. We look so much better with him.
And, It's hard to be critical and maintain pressure when you're 3-0 up after 30 minutes, but it grinds my gears when players see Suarez hit the 42 yarder and think it's a license to shoot. Could've been a cricket score if we made the right decisions.
Sterling - Has so much confidence when he has 4-5 defenders in front of him. But no confidence when it's him and the keeper.
Suarez is a beast. Showing alot of determination. I hope Madrid don't come calling in January in an attempt to resurrect their La Liga ambitions. I'm curious as to what we would do if madrid offered him a sizeable deal.
Great start to a tough period coming up for us!
I look forward to sitting down and watching it tonight.
decent result. Rogers is making a huge impact on the club.
This was our first away win against a "Top 6" team under Rogers I believe. Good to see Henderson, Sterling and Flanagan get some rewards for their recent efforts. And Suarez, well, is there a more in form player anywhere. Keen to see Suarez Vs Aguero.
Hopefully, we don't drop points Vs Cardiff and can tackle City + Chelsea and try to get some points.
Rodgers doing the fergy.Quote:
"Jordan's got the tools to be a Liverpool player. I looked at him in training on Friday playing with first-team players and I thought, 'there's a boy who you can take to Stamford Bridge and he'll fight and pass and put his foot in'. It's something I'll look closely at."

Love him or Hate him the bloke is dead set world class. IMO at the same level as Ronnie and Lionel
1st player to score 10 in a Calendar month.
Hopefully the Flower boys and Gooners have draw and we go into Christmas top of the League. Huge 2 games coming up if we can get 4 points out of them I'll be happy with that
Amazing time to be alive right now
Two big games to test how serious a challenger we are!
swarez
Tipping 3-3 at City and 2-1 win at Chelski
would probably settle for 2 draws but gotta be aiming for 4 points
sounds like a tough askQuote:
Manchester City v Liverpool
Liverpool 3/1
Manchester City 4/5
Draw 13/5
What a cracker of a game. FFS its hard to not feel hard done by, Offside??? Is that linesman on crack??? 2 decent penalty calls, although Skrtel probably got away with a little to much too. Sterling how did he miss, Mignolet on dear, question is now how much will this cost us only time will tell.
might not mind that result come seasons end. ffs, utd steal 3pts with an oggy, knts
Poo should feel satisfied atm.
No Gerrard or Sturridge on deck and they have played all the top teams (apart from Man U) away in the first round.
They are well placed to get into the top 4.
testing time against the top 4...mission complete
Very unfortunate not to come away with 1/3pts V Man City. Thought we took it to them but City's counter attack at home is too good.
The humble pie wasn't too tasty, but not too much of a setback IF we get back to winning ways. We have Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Everton all at home this round so hopefully get some points from those and we are back to evens.
Hull @ home, Stoke away, Villa @ Home, Everton @ Home, WBA away. On paper, Everton is only 50/50 game, but we are liverpool so we'll probably lose to Villa at home or some shit.
Then, Arsenal @ Anfield in maybe the biggest game so far.
Any transfer rumours floating around?
yes - appears Mohammed Salah from Basel is almost a done deal
Sky have reported that Muhammad Salah and Christian Tello (Barcelona) will be at Melwood tomorrow for Medicals.
So Liverpool are interested in Chelsea's Ryan Bertrand and Chelsea have agreed to let Ryan leave, but Chelsea are reluctant to sell to us because they are unhappy with how little Victor Moses has featured so far this season.
Why bother defending when all you need to do is score more than your opposition?
It will make an interesting game to watch this evening. By all accounts Liverpool's midfield and defence were quite poor.
Bit difficult when Stoke do nothing but race up into your face and swipe at your ankles. Was a frenetic game, you will enjoy it.
Don't know what all the fuss is about with the penalty. Sure, it was a handball prior from Sterling. But, i've seen the replays over and over again this morning and I'm convinced it was a penalty. Soft, but a penalty nonetheless. The angle from behind shows the hip/contact and you see Sterling's body shift with the impact, and he goes down...
Good to get the win. At 2-2 i was a bit scared. Need to keep winning these games against teams below us and we will get our chances to move up.
Great game to watch (excitement wise).
Suarez has to be the most undervalued $400,000 a week player ive ever seen. Gosh he's good.
