Skybus would be your best bet. It's $28 for a return ticket. They take you from The airport, to Southern Cross station then split you up again into smaller buses and run you to your hotel.

They then collect you at a certain time you say and run you back to southern cross, then a big bus to the airport.

Super easy and the way we'll be going.

Catching the 2:30 newcastle flight. Arriving around 4pm.

Staying near Flagstaff station.
