Really messes up their plans to end up with 3 tiers of 8...
I don't know...but not having access to results in 15s will give less opportunity to earn the number of points required to stay in tier 2 when the season split happens. (And the opportunity to rise...
PYL13-18s is tier 1
U20s and "1st grade" seem to be perennially stuck at the bottom (but imagine that also makes it hard for them to attract decent players too)
I did it myself...although the source table is a bit "iffy" (a few tier II teams haven't played a game yet)
So present standings after a whole 2 rounds (some have only played once)
Div1...
Does anyone know how to access the club championship tables these days?
I can't seem to find them
It's a shame, I would have liked to have had a NST team locally to support...especially if the Jets really are dead in the water
I think the success of the academy is predicated on the connection to an A-League club, and people viewing it as a pathway to that slim opportunity of professional football.
From what I...
Saw this on ESPN over on FB.
Is this the end of the Jets 😱 (and the Canberra women's W-League team)

This is always the constant question in newcastle football and the answer is NO but that is from many factors.[/QUOTE]
I agree, co$t$, travel, morning training, coaching quality, politics,...
I don't recall, but is promotion/relegation based on SNR club championship, or 1st grade ladder position?
The results last year were also not very good, most teams finished 9th or 10th if I recall. The club championship was propped up by the fact they won the 16s comp.
From what I have heard, 2nd...
Adult mens are no.2 in club championship in tier 3
Youth club championship for boys 12th of 16 clubs
4 games in by age:
U13s - 12th
U14s - 15th
U15s - 11th
U16s - 9th
U18s - 4th
Is it 2 up 2 down for pro-rel?
@Box2Box...as a consumer, I prefer less subs and bench sitting
My dream state would be, clubs set to 11 in youth football, and their bench of subs to come from the year below
Agree on Sydney...
Was anybody hurt in the heat...we live in a hot country, soon we'll never get to have any games if we're not lucky
Lol, I thought about that after I already posted the 'wow'
Oh wow!
Wasn't that a Lakes ZPL team?
Why would it need a whistleblower to say they use money the club generates to pay players and some staff members...is there some kind of rule or law they are breaking if they did?
I thought it starts this coming season
Maybe, but their u21s who he will be playing with are 3rd in their group though...that's not bad :)
Coworker of mine whose son was rejected by the Jets just signed a professional youth contract with Sheffield Wednesday (he joins them next year as an 18 year old...spent the last two years in...
How about only club championship points accumulated by the teams that make finals
Average ladder positions ≠ anything to crow about
It really does show just a level of inconsistency in the...
I don't think that is the most accurate way to divy out numbers either, though
Excluding the 13s, 3x 9th places and a 1st shouldn't be 3rd, (let alone a 2nd)
(Not that my opinion matters of...
I still think the club championship is meaningless (at least the way it is calculated), look at the Jets youth finishing 2nd...despite finishing 11th, 9th, 9th, 1st & 9th...those results should never...
