My congrats to the Cooks Hill Football Club. All 3 grades into the GF, that's a great achievement and shows the depth they have in their squad.

GF day is going to be a cracker !

The thirds and reserves squads from each club can play on the same day..... cant they ?

Would have been a great outcome for Uni who's 1st grade just have not performed at all. And given that they had 3 all age players playing 3rds, 6 3rd graders playing reserves and 5 reserve graders...

2 - 9 (I think) - Uni were woeful and you could tell they just want the season to end for first grade. Cookers were too good and deserved the scoreline, they played well and...

A Draw between Uni / Cookers leaves it at 29 points a piece going into the final game of the season. Uni would have it on For and Against though. Uni with the harder draw coming up against CH and RT...

Wallsend V Uni -

Firsts - A deserved draw...both sides failed to take chances in the 6 yard box... but it was an even game.

I heard on the grapevine that the suns pulled a lovely play out of the bag and played several key first graders in 3rds. Not sure if it was true...but reliable sources !
