This thread is a joke isn't it?
Half the people are okay to talk football, the other are a bunch of half-wits that only want to stir trouble or slag off kids & coaches that are doing their best.
Correct. To my knowledge NL aren't asking Council for money to upgrade Alder Park.
They have money and the grant opportunities are available, but Council aren't allowing them to fully fence the...
I've been involved with New Lambton SAP over the past couple of years, and can say that you absolutely correct. NL are losing a few players from each 10s and 11s squads this year to NPL clubs and...
Hi mate, not being part of the club would make it difficult to understand, as you don't see the inner workings of Alder Park and Novo at 9am each Saturday morning, however when the club was making...
Haha seriously? I've been involved from a committee level at NL for 10 years. One of my main roles has been to try and get development done at Alder Park after we got pushed there 7 years ago . Brick...
It's Crown Land, not Council owned.
Please explain further FR. New Lambton seem to have everything but a ground.
lol once again. It's happened how many times now with no change.
Oh wait - there is reserve grade now. Good.
Well there you go. It's hard to keep track of all juniors i guess.
That's the difficult part of an "NPL" program Vs NewFM in seniors. Parents and kids may think they are getting a head start to NPL...
Yep, This is mostly true. Half of our Blue team has played together for a few years, and the White team is made up of players thrown together at the beginning of the season from Several U8 NLFC...
So with Mussy dropping out of ZL all together, do we see ZL2 & ZL3 combining to make a 14 team comp? Would be silly to have two 7 team comps.
Rego fees are around half.
Say you sign 9 players for $6k.
Then,
Rego fees with FFA / NNSW are $3k - This also pays for ground & training hire, match officials at Hub
Kits cost $1500 (Average...
Ha ha "pocketing this cash" do you have any idea what it takes to run a football club and the costs that are involved?
Take into account registration fees (NNSW/FFA), Match officials, Kits and...
Absolutely. I have had to speak with our own club supporters in the past, and I would expect other coaches to do the same.
Lots of opportunities for younger refs in NPL / NewFM with lower age groups these days.

Catch up game last night from Round 1 - Argy Vs New Lambton at Jack Edwards Oval.
1sts 2-1 Argy
Res 1-3 New Lambton
A couple of good tough battles.
Called off.
Hard to imagine it will be a big focus for him.
No. The field position is moving further north and being rotated to fit mostly inside the athletics track, and this will also provide the best lighting.
New Lambton Football Club is paying for all work carried out on Alder Park. The majority of the park is being drained and irrigated, and the old cricket pitch is being removed. Topdressing and...
The majority of our 1st grade and reserve grade will trial to make the team. New players will be added to fill in the holes left by players not wanting to step up. We already have a ZL2 team, and...
Council are in favour of our master plan for Alder Park which includes covered seating.
We are currently looking at uncovered seating options for 2017 until funds are there to construct a full stand.
Lots of hard work ahead for the club, but with the size of our junior base, we are in good stead.
