When did they change kickoff time to 7pm here 4pm over there. Thought this was meant to kickoff at 5pm our time.

Serious prediction. I think we're going to go completely against the odds, and our history, and win comfortably 3-0.

Not 100% sure but the 2pm West Australian heat might have something to do with it.

Didn't realise there was a 15 hour time difference between the West Coast and the East Coast of Australia

Yeah true. Just 5pm would have been handy since I'll be at the knights game at hunter stadium which will end at 4:50pm or so. 2 hours to kill in between games now.

The Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets have named an 18-man squad for Sunday’s clash with Perth Glory at nib Stadium.

Full of confidence after a 5-0 win over Wellington Phoenix at Hunter Stadium last weekend, the Jets will be looking for their first win in Perth since the inaugural Hyundai A-League season on Sunday.

A win for the Jets over the Glory would also see them consolidate their place in the top six with only two matches remaining after Sunday’ fixture.

Newcastle currently sit in sixth place on 32 competition points, ahead of seventh-placed Sydney FC due to goal-difference.

Newcastle Jets squad: 1. Mark BIRIGHITTI (gk), 3. Taylor REGAN, 4. Kew JALIENS, 5. Ben KANTAROVSKI, 6. Zenon CARAVELLA, 8. Ruben ZADKOVICH (c), 9. Emile HESKEY, 11. Craig GOODWIN, 14. Josh MITCHELL, 15. Josh BRILLANTE, 16. Jacob PEPPER, 19. Michael BRIDGES, 21. Sam GALLAWAY, 20. Ben KENNEDY (gk), 22. Adam TAGGART, 23. David CARNEY, 24. Mitch OXBORROW, 29. Joel GRIFFITHS.

Ins: 3. Taylor REGAN (promoted), 16. Jacob PEPPER (promoted).

    Outs: Nil.

Unavailable: 2. Scott NEVILLE (knee injury – long term) 25. Mitch COOPER (knee injury – long term).
