Key facts:

- Since the inception of the A-League, the draw has seen the Jets travel to Adelaide twice in the regular season in 6 of 9 seasons, including 4 times in the last 5.
- The Jets have only ever received 1 penalty in this fixture. Adelaide has received 2, which were in the same match.
- Galekovic has kept a clean sheet in his last two visits to Hunter Stadium.
- The Jets two red cards in this fixture have been given at Hunter Stadium. These cards were to Jade North and Mark Birighitti.
- Seven of the 11 fixtures at Hunter Stadium have been a drawn at halftime. However the two times the Jets have lead, they have gone on to win. Conversely, the two times they have been behind, they have lost.
- A Jets player has been booked every time Adelaide has played in town.
- It has been 15 months since Adelaide played in Newcastle.

- Whenever the Jets have been behind at half time against Adelaide in all fixtures, they have NEVER earned a point from the match.
- This match will be the 20th straight appearance for Eugene Galekovic against the Jets.

- This week will be Sam Gallaway’s 40th appearance for the club. This week may also mark James Virgili’s 50th appearance.
Not going. **** the club. Don't care. Can't wait til off season. Better things to do with my time.
i thought you'd be there for your main man micky bridges, club legend (have seen these words bandied about, fmd)
Jets to win 3-2. Adelaide go 2 up within 15 minutes (thanks to Gallaway + getting sent off) with Djite and Elrich to score. Elrich to run over to the squadron giving it the big ones.
We have more possession, chances and better play than them for 70 odd minutes with 10 men. Zane finally realises thin air is better than Gallaway. Griffiths scores a hat-trick giving Elrich the big ones.
Elrich will be suspended...
Lucky Elrich wont be playing

Jets win Sydney lose by whatever the goal difference is, Jacob burns plays the game of his life. Lols all round.
not going either. I'm away. We'll probably lose.
Regardless of the result this will be a good game to watch. No way will I be missing the last game of the season. Who knows, the way things are with HSG it might even be the last Jets game.
Prediction: Jets will win the game but fail to make the final series.
This I understand I've missed a few myself like this but "I'm sick of Middleby" or "can't be F#% ked will prob just lose" is a putrid act of a spineless dog.
Then the extra 10,000 glory hunters will say I supported them from the beginning and I was there for the tough times when we "eventually" find some success and make the F'ing finals.
I am not going because the flights and accommodation to Newy aren't worth the pain of having to come home days later to the team that ends up beating us.
There's no excuse to miss this one.
The team has adapted well to the new coach.
They are playing free flowing attacking football.
Still fighting for a position in the finals.
Coming off a fighting 2-2 draw at home last week.
And they are playing the jets, they're sure to put on a show.
