Wright has been confirmed in the 30 man squad. PNE would play the play-off final the day we play south africa should they make it. Would rather him play in a competitive final and meet us in brazil rather than play a nothing friendly and miss some super competitive football.

looking at the predicted squad is pretty disheartening.

such a lack of genuine quality.

Have you ever watched either of these guys? Also, you ridicule the level that Neill was playing at (Football Championship) yet are happy for a Football League 1 (not to mention an alleged criminal) & K-League player to be in the squad. Got it.
Have seen Devere play many times in the HAL.

Have also seen a fair bit of Bailey Wright. Keep a close eye on his club and have been following his career for a few years now.

Will admit haven't seen anything of the other bloke but as discussed previously with you we have a depth of talent in this position.

Slight difference between Wright and Luca$h

Bailey has been playing quite regularly all season 40 odd games. Luca$h hasn't been. Difference in levels is irrelevant. Bailey has already played in the Championship level in the past when PNE were in it recently!!!

Also ridiculing Luca$h playing level wasn't the issue. It is more so his lack of actual playing time.

Anyway WLG 30 mins time Ange will announce the squad an officially bring in the new era of your very own avatar(SELECTED BY THE FOZ)!!!!

As for the alleged criminal remarks I will let them slide.

The bloke was arrested and questioned into Match Fixing along with half a dozen of his teammates.

    None have been charged.

For all we know the bloke may have done nothing wrong and was arrested by the police as part of their tactics to interview him and put him in a position where he had to co operate.

Doesn't mean he is guilty of anything!!!

Eugene will go, birra won't. will need some experience, even if it is on the bench.

They're taking 4 keepers over to Brazil, but only 3 in the 23man actual squad. Biraz will be apart of the train-on squad.

    CB options:
    Spira
    Bailey Wright
    Curtis Good (injured)
Ryan McGowan (barely plays, is actually a RB)
    Alex Wilkinson

Yep, we've got van Persie covered!
    OK

    30 man prelim squad
If I am reading that correctly, the only one I got wrong was Devere for Sarota. Boooooooooo.

Biraz, Wilkshire, Good, Bresc, Mckay, Luongo, Kennedy to be cut.

Have you seen him play recently??

    Bloke has No Idea

FFS even the Hoff could mark him out of the game.

Do see your point though. But try applying it to the other blokes like Sanchez Negredo Costa etc

I think you will find Ange has to axe 7 of them before they board the plane to Brazil.

The extra numbers are to train in the next few weeks and press for selection until the decision has to be made

Not entirely true from what I have read. They will take 4 stand by players with them from what I understand so I think Biraz is off to Brazil whether he makes the 23 or not. Hence the culling of 3 down to the 27 traveling squad and the later cull of 4 to the 23 man registered to play at the World Cup squad.

edit - I think that's to account for injuries pre WC but post squad announcements.
