yeah its been building for a few years now. always good to add players each year than lose them.
a few years back we gained some good players but didnt fair too well, then their mates come to play the next year and then even more this year

we at barnsley had to call our games off against kotara last night and tonight. ground just not good enough, cant get on there to mow it, mark lines etc
read rumours on social media that we called it off due to injuries and tiredness from coffs on the weekend and that we used to water our ground when we knew players were going to be out.
oh and how can we call it off when teams were training on it on monday night. when it wasnt our ground that was being used.

Tonights first grade game between Tenambit & Gardo off again - maybe 4th time lucky. Probably time to start looking at alternate venues. Lance York is playable.

Merewether v Suburbs at a very heavy Jeso park
1st - 2-1 Suburbs. 1 all at half time with a Suburbs player shown a straight red early in the second half. Seemed to lift the boys and they went on with the win. Should have put a few more away if not stray shots & good keeping from Merewethers GK. Some very tired legs out there you would have thought no one had played in a month or so.......
Res - 1-0 Suburbs. Dodgy pen given to Suburbs but shooting was terrible and should have won by a lot more.
3rds - 2-2. Suburbs got away 2 nil only to see Merewether come back and snatch a point.

Pretty sure 3rds ended up 5-1 with one of the Kahibah strikers bagging 4 including his first ever headed goal (came off his ear I think).
