So Wallsend bt Suns, drew Barnsley and narrow done by Suburbs what gives with the improved results? anyone...

Not sure about what's happening out at Wallsend, but I know Suns 1st grade keeper got sent off in their previous game vs Kahibah. I wasn't there to see the incident but have been told it was in the dying stages of the game with Suns comfortably leading 7-3 and for something pretty unnecessary like backchat or retaliation. Maybe his absence had an impact on their result vs Wallsend. Maybe someone from either camp can clarify.

bit more depth at the club this year. it's taken many years since the newfm days to be where we are now, but everyone's pretty glad we're turning it around.

the suns game was a decent one. we jumped out early to make it 2-0, they fought well to bring it back to 2-2 and looked very strong, but we managed to pinch one and then seal it shortly after to close out the 4-2 victory. it was a great day for the reds, 4-0 in thirds, 4-0 in reserves, and 4-2 in first grade.

Wow, i just checked the tables and there is quite a gap between the top 3 and the rest!

Are the three top teams too good for this league? Especially Barnsley and Suburbs being right up there in all 3 grades!

green jelly was a silly red card for retaliation in the last minute of the game
we did have enough chances to win against wallsend after coming back from 2 down but credit to wallsend they deserved the win
