Hopefully the FA use the Brexiit thing coupled with today's disaster to force some change on English clubs and mandate the foreigners in the EPL

50% of the foreigners in the EPL leaving would make little impact on the quality of the product but would increase the opportunity for young English players
Foreigners are not the problem. All countries have foreigners. Look at the system they bring "kids" up in, outdated, no improvement, clubs v clubs instead of collective agreement between clubs etc.

Their league is over run with foreigners

Their system is one issue and yes it has problems.

But the reality is the opportunity to play in the top flight just isn't there now for most of the kids.

Either the club brings in an established foreigner or signs some young up and comer who is also a foreigner further restricting opportunity for English kids.

Add in the whole results are imperative to stay in the EPL as the financial costs of being relegated are so much then you have another problem where the Managers refuse to play young locals

Soooo foreign players come in that are better then the home grown product....so to make the home grown better get rid of the foreigners? Sound logic.

Strange that the Spanish, Italians and Germans don't have these foreign invader issues....

    Stop the boats

The Spanish and the German leagues are giving their young a go and still play the locals.

Serie A has had its issues with foreigners ****ing up local development for years

3-4 foreigners a team is plenty. Look at the English clubs. Most would be lucky to have 3-4 locals.
Thus dropping the pool of eligible players for the NT

    * except for Spurs. (however most English people probably wish Kyle Walker was a foreigner).

Ok, so with the quarterfinals approaching, we have:

Poland vs Portugal (Bon vs Grim)
Wales vs Belgium (belchardo vs leftrightout)
Germany vs Italy (q vs Jeterpool)
France vs Iceland (lquiquer vs Jeterpool)

You still don't get it. These leagues are developing their players so they are better then a foreign option. German teams don't just put in a German player if there is a better option. Bayern Munich have plenty of young foreign players, why? because they are better then a local option.

Why aren't the English developing players better then these 'foreigners', that's what you should be asking. Not "oh these players from other countries are better, so lets get rid of them and bring in our not so good younger players because that will somehow make them really good".

Are you joking?? Juventus is the only team that has more than two Italians (locals) in the starting team. All others are lucky to have one or tow in their squad.
The so called acadamies in England are basically shit in developing players. Look at Barca they develop so many young players that most of them end up playing somewhere other than for Barca. Can we say that for any of the English acadamies.???

The Germans have spent well over a billion Euros on their yoof in the last decade alone.

Of course they are producing better players.

That being said the opportunity to play in the Top flight in Germany is there for the local kids as they develop.

Where is the opportunity for English kids??

They have spent over a billion Euros on wages on foreigners in the last decade.
Let's not even look at your elite players like your Hazards your Alexis Sanchez etc let's just look at your rank and file EPL foreigner like your Jedinak Skirtels Rojas etc

Just clogging up the pathway for young kids

This season we seen a young kid with some promise arrive. Be interesting to see what type of opportunities are given to him going forward
    I talking about Marcus Rashford.

Now it wouldn't surprise me at all if his club went and signed another 2 foreign strikers on big money and blocked his career

Serie A is a shadow of its former glory isn't it??

The Azzurri can barely muster a World class attack like they once did
    ADP Totti Baggio etc

    Where are they now??

They not producing them as the attacking spots in Serie a have been filled with foreigners for 30 years

Yet when Hitler tried stacking his team with locals and not giving foreigners a run they said he was evil.
Swings and roundabouts I guess eh Member.

Southampton's is about the only one I can think of that is producing players with any regularity (obviously not the quality/level of La Masia though).

Finally. You could have stopped making your point here. So in other words the poms need to start doing this? The Germans spend a lot on foreign players and their wages as well. I almost feel like you're arguing with yourself a lot of the time....

But they seem to do well in tournaments though.

BTW Totti is not an attacker. He is a midfielder that has been asked/forced by Roma to play up front.
The serie A is slowly coming back. Not up to the standards of the 80s and 90s but getting there.

The Poms would find their biggest immediate improvement will come by finding a decent manager and a modern game plan that fits the strengths of their players.

Yes a rebuild in skills at junior levels and truth about egos would be the 2nd thing to drill into young dickheads.
