    More of this please

Checked out a couple of the pieces today, awesome to have around the city and we should be embracing it in my opinion.

would be nice if newy stopped buffing all the legendary local graff artists rather than just pumping up out of towners imo

Agreed, they also went over some existing walls rather then the multitude of boring, ugly, brick shite that is around the place.

Still, cool to have some pretty legendary names up and about around the place.

Still burning at some of the stuff that was lost when the skate park got purged, that place is depressing now.

Talent and massive investment of time / resources!

Qman it's been sitting uneasy with me lately, I want to write to the paper / council asking them to share the results of their little experiment. The skatepark was murdered as they believed it would decrease graffiti overall in the city, I want them to report the success of the decision and justify it against everything that was lost when the wall went. Youth being able to claim some ownership over the city, an awesome attraction to visit and a place in the city that actually has some life.
Such a prime spot just wasted now, DISC RACE.

There's a warehouse in Wickham (near that coffee shop/furniture joint) that has artists doing stuff in broad daylight all the time.
I'm assuming its legit. Anyone know if that's true?

Comparing your average hoolie 'tagger' to some of these genuine street artists is like saying because Terry McFlynn and Griff kick a ball they are both 'footballers'.

To be fair though Newy has no where near enough Griff murals.
That's the real dis-grace here Member.

What is also disgraceful is the lack of Murals that have failed to spring up over the last few days to commemorate all that is great about Taggz. Dis - Grace

A lot of the guys creating these massive murals started out as average hoodie 'taggers'.

Just to be clear not condoning illegal graffiti, just saying...
