i think i found it easier the second time round.
the first was a single 21km loop, the second run was a 2 lap 10.5km loop, so i found that a bit tougher mentally. it was easy to keep going on the long loop, cause i knew it was the fastest way home

Getting stuck in a carriage with the Newcastle University Quidditch team on the way home last night
I shit you not, these guys spent the better part of 2 hours discussing Quidditch, tactics, players, statistics, club vs country debate. Only had a few small breaks to talk about issues such as the mirrored narratives of Luke and Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars.
The best part was that, in amongst the acne-ridden obese guys was this fairly hot Eurasian chick in a school girl outfit
