Too true. Though I have been listening to ABC Classic of a morning for some bizarre reason lately. Emma somebody or other has a weirdly fascinating voice.

Need a car that can take the ipod mate. Tried the FM tuners but the reception is dodgy to say the least. Don't like driving with the earphones in.

This. Pretty cheap too. Can probably pick one up and have it installed for <$100.

Not really related, but thought this would be an appropriate vent space.
How on Earth are G-shock watches so expensive?

Looks as ugly as all hell, and have that, "my first watch" feel about it. Who would pay $750 for that! I'd sooner get 2-3 Nixon watches.

Cheers guys - it's an old car and doesn't have an AUX button either. Replacing the CD unit would leave a massive gap in the dash because its not really a standard size.

    Appreciate the suggestions though.

It's worth going in and asking next time you're in or around a JB or similar. They often have a list of models somewhere that various units are compatible with. My car (2000 model) had a CD/CassetteTape/Pretty big interface and they took it out, put the new one in. I had to purchase a little pocket. which fits snuggly over the top in the gap where the rest of my audio used to be. So there are possible ways to fill the gaps etc. Worth posing the question.

A stereo that is double in height to the standard is called a "Double DIN". Most subie's (01 liberty for example) require a double din stereo. Ask about them at any car audio joint and they'll know what youre on about.

Big fan of the Belkin tuner. A bit of You Am I on the way to and from the zoo each day soothes the soul.

Mate, I'm with you on this one..
Add to that list pretty much any HBO show that is mass marketed to this formula: Graphic violence + gratuitous sex scenes + shitty computer special effects...
Friends keep benging on about shows like Game Of Thrones (which admittedly, I've only seen about 5 minutes of it), but going on about "oh you should see the sex scenes"...
Ummm.. If thats the key reason you are watching it, are you aware that there are complete movies where it is nothing but sex scenes?

Pet hate - nothing wrong with sex scenes when they are in context/relative to the storyline.Various series of Underbelly are prime examples of having sex scenes in it to seem edgy from what I have seen. Have to say, Game of Thrones season 2 seemed less reliant on flesh, and more focused on the story, which was good.

Yeah true.. As I said, I havent seen a great deal of it, so I probably shouldnt have used that as an example..
Better example would be the whole True Blood series.. Sooooooo many of my lady friends going off about the hot sex scenes.. etc..
Well if you want that, watch a porno.. Probably have better storyline and more convincing acting in it too..
