It's pretty cool this whole mcWanderers backlash, on 3 fronts.


1. Football now getting mainstream enough in Australia to attract big companies as sponsors
2. People knowing enough about the potential impact of this sponsorship to kick up a stink about it. (If football wasn't popular enough no-one would care about the poor health issues associated with this promotion)
3. Shit food now being the target that smoking in sports advertising once was.



Only issue is, cigarettes, alcohol, gambling, junk food, fossil fuels, fossil fuel burners, electronics that promote sedentary lifestyles....... Who the **** will sponsor sport?
