Doesn't matter anymore - we'll have our 10 5pm home kickoffs, two games in Perth, two games in Wellington and one home game away from home.

Hopefully the away draw is a bit better for travel purposes this season.

We don't get night games. We don't get Friday games. Hope the draw surprises me but I'm not holding my breath

Perth away twice could be crucial. This needs to be the year we nick some points over there

We played Wello and Perth at home twice last year. Safe to assume it will reverse this year.

Article in SMH this morning saying they're opening with a Sydney darby at ANZ with a crowd of 80K. Also states FFA will use more aggressive marketing to promote the season which they lacked last year. Only a good thing with the broadcast deal around the corner.

Genuine disgrace that almost half our home games are Sunday arvo, what we learnt from a few years back is our worst time slot for attendance, and not a single Sat night home game. I mean I know we're unappealing to Foxtel but not one solitary sat night home game?

Also round 13 away, smh. Over to you, jeterpool.

    Fxxx this club.
    OK

Play our only home game vs Melb City at bloody Coffs Harbour. If as reported they sign a big name Marquee the club has just thrown money down the drain choosing that fixture.

Well I was close - no surprises.

    13 home games/14 away games.

Two away each games at Perth and Wellington (why they can't alternate those two with a little work I dont know).

10 home games in the afternoon - two Friday night games and the other night game in Coffs (where it is possible Timmy might play).

Boxing Day game is a positive - rest is usual pander to the big teams crap. We have to simply start winning.

This is it, i don't blame FFA or Foxtel at all... why would you put the dire football we play on at prime time?
Until we prove we deserve to be prime time we won't get it. If we want a good TV deal, we aren't exactly going to bring in the numbers!

    Draw positives -

    * 3 of the first 4 matches are at home. We must take advantage of this as we did last year. The away match is against the Wanderers and we have performed well away from home against them in the past.
    * We are in NSW for all of October.
    * After our match away to Perth on December 10, we don't have to for 3 weeks (2/1/17 against Victory).
    * We don't leave NSW for our last 3 matches.

    Draw Negatives -
    * We finish with two away matches but they are both in NSW.
    * We are away to Wellington then away to City in the space of 5 days playing Saturday and Thursday (round 5-6).
    * Two evening games and both are on a Friday night.
    * We only play at Hunter Stadium once in January.

That's what I've picked out so far.

Exactly, and those having a crack at the club about the playing times, as if we get any say in the matter. We get what Foxtel give us.

    And this is the problem.

Big clubs, get big slots, more exposure, more money.

We get the shit slots, less exposure, less attendance (fkn hot), less money.

You create a divide within the league, top half, bottom half and it will never change.
