Okon made a pretty good point that his squad are full of bloke who only play 15-20 games a year.

I'd love to see the bloke in charge

Tbh, I'd like to see us be ambitious and go after someone along the line of Gombau, not just another Australian.

Seems like he would fit in pretty well here then if he wishes to offer up excuses like that.

Whilst this is both the best and saddest thread ever, let me learn you all why topics like this exist.
The last 3 World Cup winning countries (Germany/Spain/Italy) have a combined 89,000 (2010 figures) coaches who hold the Uefa B, A and Pro badges.
Yet whenever our shitty league with shitty clubs need a new coach we go to the same old pool of retreads and failures that everyone else goes to.
Jesus I cant believe no one has mentioned Kossie coming back yet.

Lo and behold when one of our clubs actually went on a search of football talent with coaching pedigree in a real set up (not say, some bloke from the Jets TV commercials) they are all of a sudden playing great football and leading the comp.
The fact that our management seem to have neither the foresight or ability to attract one of those almost 100,000 options says all you need to know about the level of knowledge and more importantly big picture thinking to actually make a bad situation better.

    In summary:
    **** senior management.
    **** shitty retread coaches.
    **** 1980's thinking.
    and most importantly **** Bridges.

    (still though, Venables).

Ranieri officially in the market... (Bye bye Greece), soon to be followed by Advocaat (bye bye Serbia) and one more chance for Guus (or bye bye Holland)... But wait is it the Netherland? But then who r the Dutch? .... Classic George of course..... And just saying because no way we can afford them ........

I'll second Grimario's call for Mel. At least I'd watch post match pressers

Bridgey as coach. you cant be serious. we should have shown him the door years ago. He scored about 3 goals for us, none of which mattered and one was the worst miskick you ever saw, one was a deflection and 1 screamer. stubbins though has to get tough. Too many underperformers AGAIN. Jaliens too hot headed and un disciplined to be captain. Kanta and Regan giving up too much easy ball playing out and need to be stood down. Got to have Neuman and flores in there with montano on the bench. My starters. Kennedy (sorry biris u are out of form), pepper, Jaliens, madaschi, gallagher, Neuman, Celeski, Welsh, Carney, Griffiths, Flores. Subs Gallaway, Hoole, Kantarovski, Montano, Birigitti
