R14 ALM Jets v Wello 27 Jan MJS

Every time we say we need to win, we choke. Thoughts?
Life isn't the same without Con... but it can only improve without Tinks...

We need to win. We won't choke because we aren't anywhere near Wellington.

Please respect the players by refraining from the urge to speculate.

I know that's not you Shane, Addressing the supporters twice in a week would be out of character.

That's the Jets we know and love. Get back in it, then choke yet again with less than 10 on the clock.

There was a comment about how high our fullbacks sit recently on the forum. Totally agree, we concede so many goals from it. Like just then.

Whatever happened to the days of if one fullback is up the other stays at home????

Referee too soft, 2 to 3 yellows not given.

Been saying it for months, They push forward and no-one covers the space behind them so we get too exposed

If he’s not dropped next game it’s criminal, he’s had two shockers back to back, he needs to be dropped for Cancar to see what happens.

It seems odd that the instruction for our fullbacks is to seemingly act like wingbacks with how high they press, but without the extra coverage of another CB to make that feel like viable. Doesn’t help that on our right side we have Ingham who isn’t up to snuff in defence or attack.

We also just play to slow, we conceded that second goal through our prior attack taking too long to get going, so in turn we lost the ball. We look good when we move quick but we too often choose to add unnecessary touches or passes that give the other team way to long getting back.

Natta's head is somewhere else at the moment. He's usually reliable.
Dane Ingham is way too timid in defence. He has such a low footballing IQ.
The team tried hard yesterday but Wellington just gave us no space in their half. They are a level above us currently.

I think Nattas agent must be telling him he's going places, to the bench most likely, get the tweezers out Mark. More seriously the 5400 that turned up on a Sat arvo, school hols, good weather, tells a grim story. Mattiske is killing the club. A CEO that knows how to run a soccer club is needed and soon
