From experience I went to see Sunshine GC v Nth Sunshine in the FFA Cup a few years ago one arvo before Jets played in Melbourne

Was a 4-4 draw at FT
    6-6 AET
And Nth Sunshine won on pens

One of the most bizarre games I have ever seen

But they did go to ET and this would have been early on in their draw as the NPL teams were not in it at that stage

Victorian NPL teams have been in the last 2 rounds in the Victorian FFA cup. The game you are talking about was round 5 and NPL teams come in at round 4 final 64 teams so there are no byes and it's an open draw anyone can draw anyone

Dudley v Garden Suburb went straight to Pens, no ET. That was R1 though, not sure if it changes..

Each Federation has its own rules till the final 32
Victoria does have extra time from Qualifying rounds to the last round.

Doesn't make sense, teams are qualifying under different rules

Possibly a reason down to scheduling. Nnsw tend to have multiple games on same ground like the first year at speers pt. if games went to et it would b a nightmare. I think vic cup have stand alone games. I agree the rules need to be the same across the board from the beginning

Valo don't have a ground that meets the specifications for football. They were probably removed from the barrel to avoid any issues.

If you watch the draw, you'll see that the only 4 teams that couldn't get the bye were Edgy, Magic, Olympic and Maitland.
Valentine were the last team left. Could have been any of those 19 teams aside from the seeded teams.

A few good matches. There's 2 ZPL clashes, 1 NPL and 1 NewFM clash. Not sure if we will see any upsets in the other match ups, but here's hoping!

If they lose to Swansea, you are tipping Weston?
Or is that just a biased comment?
