Only got told an hour ago but Singleton played Gosford City FC at LMRFF today:

17's/19's v Third Grade: Singleton 0-6 Gosford City
23's v Reserves: Singleton 0-6 Gosford City
1st Grade: Singleton 1-4 Gosford City

Guy I was talking to was from Gosford I think so no word on if Singo were down players or what not. Makes me have second thoughts about their squad but have been told Gosford City are strong so no idea really. Singleton can be an unpredictable side. Apparently game was at short notice and with cricket on maybe they had a few outs.

The first grade game must have changed in the second half. First half was a bit like Brisbane v Jets. Cookers could not have strung more than 3 passes together. The two cookers goals in the first half were both down to a great effort by the striker and howlers from the Edgy center back. Edgeworth had so much of the ball they got complacent.
The cookers left fullback in the first quarter could have been replaced by a traffic cone for the defense he was providing. Coach replaced him with a young guy for the second quarter and he blocked that route to goal well.
Cookers did really well to get that result, but the diffence in class was obvious, and on another day the score could have been the same as the 23s.

Just to make clarity. The Cookers centre back(Cpt) had a howler in the first 20 secs of the second half. Macca took a nice fleece and finished with quality. Edgy scored the equaliser about 10min before ft. If you talk about another day the score could have been 5-3. Before,ht, and post match the Cookers lads respected every thing Edgeworth put before them and understood the pressure upon them.

So far that's a 7-1 loss for Edgeworth against Blacktown and now a 4-1 loss for Broadmeadow against Bulli. Is our comp that far behind Sydney and Wollongong

And didn't Azzuri lose to Pork Kembla as well? The Illawarra league is meant to be considered as a level 6 comp with NPL level 2 not good if those clubs are beating ours.
