Not a fan of it, hey. Particularly when in football, shorts are allowed to clash. So the colour of shorts doesn't change a single thing. Let's say Germany were able to play in their white shirt, black shorts, white socks against any team in the world - changing their shorts to white, like fifa have made them do, would not enable them to play against any extra teams.

It's all for the TV viewing, from what I'm led to believe. There's no need.

What they need to do is have a mandate that the home & alternate kits alter in shades. One needs to be light coloured, one dark coloured. Maybe that's just the Ultimate Frisbee player in me talking though. Unfortunately, my belief is dual-coloured light&dark kits, like Juventus black/white, shouldn't be allowed. Mostly black with white trim, or visa versa I am fine with - as long as the dark or light is most dominant.

Australia probably ignored the recommendation because playing in all yellow would be pootang.
From what I'm lead to believe it's all about HD quality on the TV.

FFS it's never been a problem before what a joke IMO
