No it was on the hill side of the ground but the bloke that served it had a cut finger and left blood all over the fu@kn thing.
They only had Gold left but thats the norm after half time anyway at these games.
I did notice the beer booth was shut off with about 15mins to go but I just put it down to a few Cardiff boys winding up the Bero boys and the possibility of a fight.

Congrats to Beresfield...they had a good season and managed to scrape through.

IMO - the best team on the day.....University Reserves - The only team to score a goal in play and the only team to win without the tossing of a coin... (thats what I think pens are...)

Some of the worst stuff - Beresfield supporters acting like absolute muppets....it would be good if they would actually learn some quality insults instead of resulting to what they did on the day...but I know...that's too much to ask. The Classic line delivered by a Uni supporter to one of them ...."You holiday where I live"....it took him a minute to figure it out.

Worst non club decision of the day.......How the F that referee got the firsts game I will never know...absolutely diabolical...The third grade referee was the best ref on the day by far.

Should be a good season next year...wonder who will stay and who will go ?

I didn't watch the first game but I have to agree with Pheonix. The first grade game was ordinary at best. Uni seemed to do it easy in Ressies.

Valid reasons though ! I was on the bench...picked up an injury a few weeks ago....but honestly, (and being us unbiased as I can), IMO the reserves game had the majority of chances (for both sides) over both the thirds and firsts game.

Cheers for that...I didnt think I was being biased with my comment, but the other games didnt have the chances that both Mayfield and Uni had, and the game itself seemed more entertaining because of the chances taken, and the chances missed.

I think what you're trying to say is the best performance of the day was Uni ressies, not the best team. Saying they are the best team on the day is insinuating they would have beaten all competing teams on the day which I'm guessing wouldn't be the case.
    It's football, not s***er!!

    Gentlmen,

    I realise the sources from Wikipedia can be somewhat fictitous. But I have discovered it has been recently updated with some information;

    NPL - South Cardiff Relegated
    NSL - Valentine Promoted
    ZPL - Barnsley Relegated
    ZPL1 - Morriset Promoted

Is there any truth to this?

That all seems correct. Which bit were you worried about exactly good Sir?

Cons - Is a rugby league field - When we got there this year they had to take the goal posts down to set up the football field.

Pros - Can see entire game from club window.

    LOL...

Last time I played there I think they fielded a few under 18 players just to get a side on the park. The ground didn't hold water very well and so was frequently washed out for a lot of the rounds...

However that was a while ago and things may have changed for the better.

    Regards

My word is, that Mo-town aren't going to be playing out of Dozza anymore..
The aim is to have Auston Oval done up and they move back up there..
