I believe so. Only difference is the ZPL GF is on the Sunday 13th.

100% GUARENTEE IT WILL RAIN. The spare weekend needs to be flexible and only used if required.
Just curious on everyone's thoughts, but are you a fan of the current finals system? Or would you prefer we returned to the 'old' way? Ie:
1 v 2 - Winner through to GF, Loser host semi following week
3 v 4 - Loser eliminated, winner through to play loser 1v2
There's pros and cons for both systems so keen to know what the majority think??
Old system for me.. I don't there is really any incentive for finishing first or second in a tight comp.
No incentive for finishing first? Except for, you know, promotion.
The question wasn't directed at promotion. The question was which finals set up do you rather.. and why.
My opinion and one I know isn't shared by many is to do away with finals all together. First past the post crowned champions and leave it at that, I know it will most likely never happen tho just my opinion.
But as to which system I like more when it comes to finals, the old way for me with higher team hosting games until gf then a neutral venue.

Old format for sure and in my opinion the Grand final should be played at a ground within in the comp....
give benefit to one of the teams in the division willing to host the day and not NPL/NEWFM grounds!
New format for mine, better team usually wins over the 2 legs. From experience nothing better than playing a GF at Magic Park, Jaffa's or Edgy, great surface, facilities and atmosphere. You grow an extra leg GF day on those grounds. Get a bit of a taste of what it's like playing with the big boys!!!
Fairly sure the medals they hand out say Premiers for the first past the post team
The other medals say Grand Final Winner/Runner Up...
