    Nope,

It is up to the host federation arranging host stadiums for the games

So considering you have 12 different feds with differing priorities they will be announced all over the show

As for the F F A They announced the last round not in one go but on a game by game basis after they had got a deal with the state governments done

I found out when growling my mum.

"Destination NSW said all location options were being considered"

    Bullshit.

All locations with local councils that will stump up the cash are being considered.

I bet its not played at Coffs

Having the Adelaide Oval now as a legitimate option may see them get a game.

This week's game most likely being a sell out will help the cause no end

I would expect it be these 4 cities getting the games and I backing Newy gets **** all from NSW government as per usual

After going to Cairns by mistake last week and having some refunded tickets (luckily...long story)
I'm hoping for some of those early home games to be in Vic, Qld or even SA.
Gotta book them before Oct 11th..which coincides nicely with Japan.
I'm hoping this game is in Melbourne again. Had a ball there last time.

Back in 1985 I was genuinely perplexed that we didn't play Scotland in Darwin in the early afternoon.

If we had any brains FFA would build a pitch on the edge of a cliff in Southern Tasmania for when we play our Middle Eastern rivals.

Either that or play at night on Mt Kosiosko

NEWCASTLE councillors have given the campaign for Newcastle to host a Socceroos World Cup match a kick along by voting to support a bid by the city.

NSW Opposition Leader Luke Foley sparked the push in April when he wrote to Premier Mike Baird and Football Federation Australia (FFA) calling for Newcastle to get the World Cup qualifying match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE), scheduled for March 28, 2017.

Both the Premier and FFA chief executive David Gallop responded positively to the call, with Mr Gallop saying the FFA would give a Newcastle bid consideration if the city were to "mount a strong case with the right level of government support”.

Cr Tim Crakanthorp successfully moved on Tuesday that Newcastle council write to the Premier and FFA in support of the Newcastle bid, noting that Hunter Stadium hosted a match between the two sides in January 2015 as part of the Asian Cup.

“Newcastle has become the alternative city to host large-scale events in NSW … with its ability to provide gold-class facilities and amenities,” he said.
Where the **** were these clowns when the just completed round matches were up for grabs??

They had more of a hope of getting one of them than they do of getting one this round.

Yet they were not to be seen or heard

Lets not forget Brisvegas and Melburn still haven't had a game this round so that's two down already

Sydney being the epicentre of the FFA's world makes 3

So we pushing shit up a hill to get one of these two left over matches

They could probably draw bigger crowd in Adelaide anyway and may wish to go either back to Perth again or give a second match to Sydney Brisvegas or Melburn before they give a game to us

    1. Saving the rail (remember the Mayor got elected on that core promise).

    2. Doing deals to support comrades in pre-selection for state seats in exchange for voting blocs in local govt.

    3. Highlighting the evils of Israel and the continued persecution of boat people.

    4. Finishing off the installation of the light rail so there is a seamless transition from heavy to light rail so there is no impact on commuters.

These dudes have been busy boss, nowt time left for meaningless sockah kickabouts.

Playing Iraq in Perth 1st September

Now being we have 5 home games.

Sydney and Melbourne will definitely get one.
    Brisvegas as well.

So that leaves 1 game left and I can't see FFA not playing it at Adelaide so looks like we miss out again

    Never been to Perf before.
Some of those flight times are shockers!
    Lucky I don't work Fridays.

if you're getting a red-eye back, don't plan on doing anything for a few days - missing an entire night screws you around as much as an international flight

looks like the Japan game will be played in Melbourne

Sydney will get one or two of the other, shitter games against Saudi Arabia, UAE and Thailand - at least they won't be held at Homebush
