The only reason the FFA is keen to see an a-league team in Newcastle is because of the solid fan support.
If fans stop going to the home games we have nothing going for us.
Why would a new owner or the FFA want to spend money on having a team in Newy with no support?
They may as well move the franchise to Canberra, Hobart or Wollongong and start again.

attendances clearly bumped up every week, as evidenced by the real counts at the asian cup crowds, dog & cat + baby memberships included in membership counts. lets get real. the numbers are pretty much no better than the gypos.
put your hand up if you would pay the actual price for a membership ffs. i am lucky i can get it for 12.50 a month because there is no way i would pay any more for the shit served up.
MDT confirmed to Grim on twitter at the start of the season that pet and baby memberships weren't included in the member tally.
