I found it surprising that the U/18 jets had a trial on Saturday at the same time as the A-league game. What is going on.

Actually think he has a point...if it's supposed to be a "club" and not just a team then the squads from the club should be "encouraged" to attend all first team games. Just the same as the head coach should be attending all youth team and as many junior games as he can. How else is he supposed to assess if a player can make the transition to the senior squad....something the owner and head coach have stated they encouraging....unless of course the owner and head coach are full of shit.

The head coach should be present at all NYL games in Newy point blank. They don't clash with the HAL so what the **** is the excuse to not check on the progress of the Yoof team players??
The head coach should be at all NPL games involving the Jets Yoof First grade team also.
The head coach should also be at the minimum attending a few of the NPL Yoof games involving the EJ Program just to keep checks on what is happening and put forth any issues he notices.

Even GVE used to **** off 20-30 mins before FT when he made the effort to front

I reckon probably not. It ain't like we have or had an admin team who actually have a plan or hold anyone to account for anything

But you would also think KPI's like winning games making semis etc would be in there also.

Yeah that was my point....best and cheapest way to ensure the long term benefit of the club is to get the best talent early, keep it and develop it......though with our last 2 head coaches the less of the young fellas they have contact with the better.
