Ki-je Lee and his positioning when faced with an oncoming defender.

Burns running at him, he shows him way to much goal line, when a small turn of the body, and offer him inside, towards covering defence, and he's not skinned in the box allowing the cross to come in for wellington a first.

Gets caught flat footed, and over rotated his chest/shoulders meaning he's easily beaten.

    Deserves it's own thread tbh.

I thought he got left exposed heaps. Hoole was always up the park and Regan stayed central always and never offered any assistance. Could do with a bit more support from his colleagues

Sorry if I'm the one wrong here but should this not read as 'Ki-Je Lee and his positioning when faced with an oncoming attacker' not '...oncoming defender'

Thread piss take aside, I agree he does half the right technique (shows the attacker the outside) but lacks the physicality to finish the job, getting turned about easily.

Still think he can be our best option at a troublesome Left Back position for as long as he is willing to stay around this circus.

This is the only Ki-Je thread I could find

    Ki-Je Lee

    • 122nd player to appear for the Jets in the A-League with a 1 minute cameo debut off the bench against Brisbane Roar.
    • Scored 2 goals for the Jets, both against Western Sydney. One was from the penalty spot on his full debut.
    • Scored an own goal against Wellington in Rd 1 this season as well as providing an assist in the same match.
    • Was only involved in 4 wins during his stay with the club.
    • And 3 clean sheets in his 20 appearances.
    • He was never substituted when he started the match.
    • He also made 1 appearance in the FFA Cup.

Doesn't take Nostradamus to sort it out.

Anyone want next week's Lotto numbers?
