Yes.
Season 2 (pre-finals) finished.
Ryu top scorer with 20
Lord Griffo second with 17
Heskey has turned into poo, scored 1 and has barely featured.... however will stay on as Head of Youth/backup Player until he retires as a player.
Brilliante, Regan, Oxborrow and Gallaway contracts are up, will not be renewing.
Goal of the season from Ryu... (helps if I post the fecking thing...)

a bit through my first season with the jerks.
sitting 6th. blasted the gypos 5-1 and then 3-2.
chilli and brockie are killing it *(i only have fm12)*
connor chapman has been playing outstanding and all deans wants to do is get rid of him.
You are seriously mistaken...
Griffo blocked the ball only just earlier on the goal line with his huge penis... then a little later Griffo got the ball in his own half Nicky Carle was helping block the defenders run...Also The commentator may have yelled "Caaarrrrllllllleeee....Get out of the way Griffo has the ball" and Griffo scored with his missus and everyone in the stadium then headed the ball into the back of the net with the head of his genitals
At end of third season, two titles on the trot and going for a third. Won the ACL. Lost to Man Utd in final of CWC.
Tinks has just agreed to purchase the stadium. Hunter Stadium will soon be owned by the Jerks, woop.
have decided i will invest into this. have never played fm before, and have rarely gamed on pc. what is the best way to purchase this game, and what kind of things should i read to get into it?
cheers
OK
FM is one of the leading causes of divorce in the UK apparently...
Don't buy retain in Oz. All games have to be registered on steam regardless of where you purchase. www.greenmangaming.com is probably one of the cheapest spots you can get it, $40ish or cheaper if you can get a discount code.
As for what you should read? Jeebus... there is lots and lots and LOTS out there. My suggestion would be jump in to one of the games and leave tool tips on. Start with a big club, learn the ropes a bit before diving in at a lower level. Even HAL is a PITA as the salary cap makes the game very different.
Download on Steam if you aren't worried about the price point (US$80). Also, you can download just the demo to get to grips with it, and if/when you decide to purchase the full game, you can continue the save-game you started in the demo (if you wish).
Welcome to the FM Family :-)

is there any advantage to buying on steam than buying with somewhere like greenman?
