I can't think of anyone (griff aside) who would be available?

No doubt we will end up with another A-league clubs reject!
Would like to see locals like Luke Remington or Kale Bradbery given at least a trial. Remo was the outstanding player in the NNSW NPL this year and would be a handy player to bring off the bench in the last 20 minutes when the game opens up using his pace. Bradbery who has been the most prolific goalscorer in the last 4-5 seasons of the NNSW state league/NPL offers a bit more versatility as a #9 or wide player and knows his way to goal. Both were in the Jets Youth set-up and deserve a second look at since they were released when they were 19-20 years old. Both are young and fit and hungry to succeed and I feel are better options than say another Nick Ward "washed-up journeyman" type.
Too often we have looked at "injury replacements" as just stop-gap measures, give one of these local guys a chance and if they perform we can sign them on to a contract for next year. I would give one of these local boys a go any day over some of the other names mentioned, such as Bertos, McBreen or R.Griffiths.

Haynes has not been that good in the NPL the last few years as he once was.

Still has the class but the frequency is a bit more hit and miss

What's this obsession with farken "has-beens" whose best years are behind them? Seriously, Fletcher, Shevchenko, Wanchope and Haynes????
Fark we might as well just bring back Jardel or Bridges!!!

Kale Bradbury is well known for his efforts in the NYL and yet absolutely no A-League club has shown any interest in him.
    There must be a reason.

    No one likes kale.

People only pretend to because it's fashionable.

I know kale is local but I don't think he is what we need with all respect to stopper and co calling for his inclusion.

I believe milos lujic is exactly what we need. Consistently banged in goals in the vpl (easily a level or 2 above our local league) over the last few years or more.
A big lump that can play with his back to goal and a good finisher.

If you look at experience and the fact he has a better strike rate in the A-league than even Haliti - Marko Jesic would make more sense than Kale Bradbury.

And I'm definitely not calling upon the club to sign Jesic. But I would still rate him well above any local player - and by a good margin as well.

I'm available. Just saying. I've scored about 10 goals in the last 10 years. That's a great stat for a Jet forward isn't it?

Though I am only 27 and my knees are in good nic so I don't tick all the boxes.

I haven't scored in 3 years. I'd fit in as a jets forward, right?

Under the impression that Leo and Milos are on 1 year deals. I don't remember if anything was reported when they signed.

If/when new ownership comes I they have a massive job deciding who from the list off contract players this year deserves to be kept, needs to happen ASAP to avoid another mass clean out.
