Good to see we are aiming for players who can turn our season around.

Shame we could not get this one done, I am a big fan of Clut, would definitely strengthen us and give us a good young player going forward. Brisbane have got a great crop of young players in Clut, Bowles, Brown, Donachie, Borello, MacLaren. Any one of those guys is a walk up first 11 player at the jets.

Glad to see Miller is persisting in his vision and trying to get a squad of 20 Defensive midfielders 1 striker and 2 keepers on the books.

Exactly why after signing the bloke the other day are we still looking for midfielders??

How about someone out wide so that Alividoic bloke who is playing like a busted arsehole can be dropped??
Or a striker who actually aint a lazy **** and can score goals??
Or a No 10 who plays games more than 1 in 4??

Or better yet someone so we can **** Carney off to the Arabian Desert ??

Do not want to burst the hate bubble but I'd see Clut as a No. 10 not a DM

Clut is most definitely a no. 10. Anyone who thinks otherwise should check their facts before commenting

As if we play with a No 10 anyway??

Millers preferred Formation is Birraz in goals

    9 blokes acting as DM

    Milos isolated up front

Awe cmon man don't get me out here having to defend the good Members posts.

Even Stevie Wonder saw that one (even though Stevie isn't really blind but that's for another thread).

Always, ALWAYS, read the Members posts at least 4 times before replying. There's sometimes some very nice jabs in there, but of course if it's still mindless dribble after 4 goes then yeah, whack away because he's probably being a crazy person.

That's disappointing. I wonder if the player is keen whether he or his agent can put pressure on the Roar?

Reading the article on TWG it sounds like they are going to be very picky about what's best for his development. I doubt we'd see him.

We have Cooper and Baressi and we don't use them for whatever reason, deciding instead to play a winger out of position. That could discourage them.

    ^^^^THIS^^^^

Our DMs get more game time there than our actual 10.

However, I would have him at the Jets in a heartbeat..

Another article on Fox suggested possible asian targets etc. One was Younis Mahmoud Iraqi captain who showed large interest in a move down under at the Asia cup. Was a shining light in their team and was easily still cutting it at 32. Proven goal scorer on the international stage.

32, used to score goals. Probably injury prone, sounds like someone we'd go for.

He CAN play, or could play 4-5 months ago? Could be on the down hill slope. Perfect for us.
