Riise is 35 and a grub sick of jets signing old players for too much coin. I even thought Heskey was a waste of money. Would find it very hard to get behind Riise even if by some miracle he signs and plays amazing. This could be because of my bias against any player cept for Kewell that played for those idiot scousers but would rather get a young aussie left back with olyroos experience or a-league experience

i watched us in pre season a few times the season we bought heskey we actually tried to pass the ball around the deck and played some sort off football. After we signed heskey the players regressed and all we did was hoof it long for heskey to chase

Yeah, unfortunately. Being told to play defensive "at all costs" is why we've only won 4 games... If we played attacking styles every now and then we'd probably score more goals.
its like theve been told not to play with any creativity or belief they can score goals which i highly doubt miller would do but its what weve been seeing until the shackles were released against the phoenix

Serious though watch the first goal last week. The short passing, movement and angles that started at the back was pretty football.
The players can do it, it just never looks like their first instinct.
