It was mentioned on ATB - the WSW podcast. Some of those guys have some decent connections, so I never discount any rumours they hear.

They talked a lot about it.

They made no excuses, but put a lot of the blame on the actions of the police.

I did though get a chuckle when they said "the supposed RBB members" about the dudes who were chanting "RBB ole ole ole, RBB ole, RBB ole ole" in the cops face in that video outside the stadium ops:

Personally, I reckon both sides were in the wrong.

Takahagi seemed better for them when he sat a bit deeper rather than behind the striker.

I've honestly found the complete opposite. I find him the typical X-factor number 10.

South Hobart have an interview on their website with Andy Brennan about signing a 2yr deal with the Jets. They're ahead of the jets

Totally disagree with the Police are in the wrong there.

They get a couple of hundred halfwits who they have told to move on advance on two of them in an aggressive intimidatory manner then the halfwits will get some response from the Police.
    Not exactly rocket science.

You wish to piss the police off like that then don't moan about the consequences.

The whole issue is a problem caused by Wankers fans anyway tolerating the halfwits amongst them with the flares and detonators

I think the police were wrong in:
    - not following protocol laid out before the season by the club, league, police, etc about how they would wait until half/full time to apprehend/charge/ban the people confirmed by CCTV, and barged into the bay.
    - the 180degree spray they did in the bay, which had innocent people (inc women and children) in there.
    - the carry-on by the policeman in the outside-of-stadium video AFTER he sprayed the pack of dudes, with the pretend crying, waving, etc.
    - the police report saying no one had been put into hospital because of the incidents, which was a blatant lie.

I think the RBB were in the wrong for a list that is probably twice that length, don't get me wrong, but I thought I'd just put it out there that both sides of the story dealt with this extremely poorly.
    OK

He played the last 5 or so of his games next to a holding mid, they used kalmar, bridge and haliti as no10.

Not saying he isn't a good no10 at all, just that he generally played as a deep playmaker type for most of his time at wankerers

I still think he's best used as a typical X-factor 10 though, and where he'd be best used for us if we were to sign him.

Agree. That is his preferred position where he's played his entire career. Dont think his defence is to the standard to play deeper

I think we'll play duel no10's next season so may well be a good option. We did it in the last couple of games in the last 10/15 min with Hoole and burgess.

So 2 year deals for Brennan, Boogaard, Mullen and Ki-Je, meaning their contracts runs to the end of the 16/17 season right? Not the 17/18 season.

I think I've got the years messed up on the squad list

    1 - 2015/2016
    2 - 2016/2017

Was going off an old list where Boogaard was down under the 17/18 season...
