Really sorry to hear that MFKS. That's a dreadful thing for a family to have to deal with. Suicide is a pretty complex issue. Please get help for yourself or any member of your family if you or they need it. Lifeline, beyond blue etc.

FORMER Jets golden boy Joel Griffiths has ended talk of a return to Newcastle and spoken of a ‘‘surreal’’ training session at Shanghai Shenhua with former English Premier League stars Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka. nh

Played against Man Utd tonight in a friendly. Had Shanghai's best chance, a decent shot well saved.

This article really highlights the benefits for us that would come from Joel playing with the likes of Anelka and Drogba. He's willing to learn from them and it would be great for him to bring this back to the Jets and help to coach the younger strikers into the future.

Most important part of the article.

The 32-year-old has not ruled out a return to the A-League and plans to make a decision on his future in early October.

Q: How do you know when your staff member is ready for a promotion?

A: When he gives you this as a gift:

It's pleasing to take note the Lord Griff actually moved to a club that wears the blue and red colours whilst on his Chinese odyssey just to get used to the colours again before his impending return to lead Newy to the Toilet seat this season.

At least his hair and complexion should look in sync with the kit when he gets back home

Either way, he is awesome! By far the most thoughtful gift I've ever recieved from someone at work (and it's not just something he picked up at the local shops)

did you receive it today? if so, I'd be a little hesitant to give the bloke a promotion as its a sign he is prone to tardiness. griffmas was yesterday, he's a day late.

Just coz it was actually Griffmas yesterday means nothing PV.

Griffmas may be a 1 day celebration to you but I celebrate Griffmas 365 days a year.
