    Austria Salzburg - Viola Curva

A Club everyone football fan should be a fan of.

The story, the history and the hate against Red Bull!!!!

    Updates from these guys

After the formation of the new club, they are back in professional football, the Austrian 2nd League.

A very important win on friday night against Austria Lustenau.. Plus some good fun afterwards...

(there was free beer at the end of the game!!)

    Anywho

In Salzburg there is only the Austria....

Work underway by money from the fans for the new Grandstand behind the goal, media and also new lighting..

A massive effort from a fan run club......

yes, massive financial issues from previous administration.... But Club will continue to exist...

Was in Berlin a few weeks back for the Benefit Game for Salzburg vs Union Berlin (Die Alte Forsterei a stadium every football fan needs to go too) amazing.. Whole stadium singing as one anti Red Bull songs the best!!!!!!!!

This weekend we are heading to Salzburg for a Football Fan (ultra) tournament.. plus game on Friday night...

So can you explain what happened? Did Red Bull pull their ownership of the team?

austria salzburg was the phoenix club created by the fans after red bull salzburg came into existence. i think our crazy swiss friend is attempting to say that austria salzburg still hates red bull salzburg, and they could do with a bit of cash to help them continue

Sorry still recovering from Salzburg weekend... Crazy..

Yeah the original club came under financial problems.. (RB slowly began buying up shares) before pushing a takeover bid.. Just like that the old club was fogotten. Name Change, Colours, no mention of any previous history.. Pretty ruthless, so the fans created a new club and started from the lowest division...

They finally made it back to pro football in the 2nd league... But alot of missmanagement and constrainst from the football federation has led them to this point. They havea forced relegation but will come back better...

The atmosphere at one of there games is crazy... As it really is blood sweat and tears that goes into it.

Plus Salzburg awesome city, great ladies everytime one of the lads falls in love lol...
