Thanks for the results shark attack, was a great game on a chilly chilly tuesday night.

    From the weekend -
    Reserves: Mayfield 1 - Dungog 3
    Firsts: Mayfield 4 - Dungog 4

Dungog threw away two 2 goal leads in the firsts game but full credit to Mayfield who kept pushing right to the end and scored twice in the final 10 minutes.

Same 12 backed up for 1sts I heard.
Gallant effort by our lads I reckon.
Didn't they nearly pinch a draw too?

Yeh looked as though most of the team were backing up after playing the reserves game.

Definitely pushed to the end and Dungog sat back far too much in the second half, just wanted the game to be over I think haha.
Cooks Hill pushed right to the end and were only denied the draw by some last ditch defending and great saves by the Dungog keeper.

Sorry if a bum steer was given by the Athfield call earlier today (7:30am).
    That field can recover amazingly.
I left it on and went to work at 8am.
The President went down there later and called it off.

Going to be real interesting with catch up's this League; especially with Dungog.
Will you blokes get them all in (6)? What about Uni as well (5)?
Might be a few 1-1 draws called here me thinks.

Dungog with it's 4th home venue this season, hosted Uni at Mayfield on what was a wet, cold sunday!

Gotta shout out to the Dungog players, many of whom actually played twice on Saturday (due to lack of numbers) then backed it up on Sunday with a thread bare squad of 11 players. Put up a massive fight and took a point away from Uni who afaik did not play Saturday and were fighting to close out the premiership. Great effort by the lads and a top game. Interestingly both goals were scored from free kicks in the first half.

Cheers to Uni for showing up at Mayfield on late notice (and lending our keeper a pair of shorts!), was great to actually be able to play.

Bring on Simba wednesday at Raymo who we are actually yet to play...
Games are coming thick and fast.
