Ha! Wouldn't that be good, you guys might actually win more then one game. Lol! All credit to your teams though. Third grade finished the first round with around 7 points(?) then went on to become major premiers stuff what people are saying about "stacking" no chance there are rules to abide by, you can not stack. Your reserve grade had a few good wins and finished 5th. First grade could well have been up there they were a hard team to play most games just lacking that X-factor.

Don't take our coaches opinion as that of the club.

And when you miss 2 penalties and an open goal inside the 6 you don't really deserve to win any game, let alone a Grand Final. Did think the send off of both players was very harsh, yellow at best for both and if the ref had being consistent we would of ended up with 8 on the park by full time.

And congrats to all the other winners on the day. Terrace had a plan and executed it perfectly. Thought we were a chance of grabbing the equaliser late on but as happens when chasing games that third goal is never far away.

On a side note, why is it that the big clubs like Lakes, Magic and Adamstown continue to take all the profits on days like Saturday. Whilst the GF deserves to be played on a good field with good facilities (mind you, one working shower in the home shed is pretty ordinary) surely each club represented on the day should get a cut of the profits from the canteen and alcohol sales. Possibly hosting club 40% and 10% to each side playing on the day.

Would each club split the cost of hiring the facility and provide workers etc for the match preparation and game day?

You would have to think, with NL going up, no teams relegated from any grade but one promoted from each grade to keep 10 team comps. Would need extra teams in L3 but that may be possible with the new age divisions in NPL forcing extra players into zone leagues

With New Lambton bumped up it poses the question as to whether to keep
Garden Suburb up in ZPL or promote the 2nd placed club from ZL1...which would be Cookers

Nominations have been sent out, it's up to Cookers to apply for which league they would like.
Then it's up to Newcastles Football to decided on who plays where.

Plenty of things can happen between now and the start of next season.

You wouldn't know what they have in store. They seem to love a bye so much that ZPL will probably be 11 teams and ZL1 will have 9. That seems to be the logic these days...

Northern have nothing to do with Zone League's. Zone League's are run by Newcastles Football on behalf of the other member associations, again nothing to do with NNSWF. So your sarcasm about the NPL and Northern League 1 are completely misdirected.

Doesn't there need to be a gap between teams from same club? Meaning Cooks Hill ID can only ever play in ID1 as Cooks Hill have team in NewFM.

Not completely sure between ZPL and Northern League 1.

There needs to be a gap between 2 teams from the same Club in the Zone league's, example would be Uni's lower side cannot progress higher than ZL2. Given that Northern League 1(NewFM) and ZPL are run by different associations could mean different rules apply.

Cookers have no interest in ZPL. If you're good enough for ZPL at our club you should be paying newfm. Besides, 1st grade haven't made a GF or won a minor in ZL1 so it would be a cheap promotion

If we scrap relegation from any grade, promote those who won their championships. That'll mean ZL3 becomes an 8 team comp, or Tenambit or Kurri might come back into the fold?
