Barnsley just wanted it more and when that happens you tend to get the good bounce or deflection which can lead to goals, that's why I think they will win 3rds

In reggies WB have been solid all year but round 18 was a draw and cookers looked better in the day, it will be really close.

Jeso have to be favourites in 1sts after the year they've had. Depending on which terrace team show up will determine how close it is, both capable of goals
No doubt Jeso should be favourites, any team to put a 20pt gap on the other team in the regular season must stand for something. Hopefully both teams are at full strength, which should make for a good game.

Couldn't imagine they would be allowed to charge for entry.

No entry fee, yes you can park around the oval but they will do a quick check of your car to make sure no glass or alcohol is taken in.

    Res W/Bay 1 v Cooks Hill 3 on pens (0-0 FT)

It was very entertaining early goal to Jesmond both teams down to 10 men in one tackle both teams missing sitters and yes 2 penalties one missed one saved

And jesmond coach telling everyone after the game we shouldn't be proud of the win cos we stacked the team well guess what champ we can't there's rules players have to qualify stop being sore loser you were beat by a beater side..

Must be why they lost first grade. Obviously had too many people back up after a big third grade and couldn't cope.
**** I hate the word stack.

It's funny how any lower grade team who wins has obviously "stacked" their team.
I watched Barnsley beat cooks hill last week in the semis and it definitely was not a "stacked" team they were playing with.

The respect between these 2 clubs is invaluable, jesmond won the gold prize. Grand final was a privilege to play against these boys . Good season Jeso 50pts will be hard to beat

Can confirm that we at Warners Bay did not stack our team with penalty takers...

Well done to Raymond Terrace 1st grade on taking out the GF in their first year back in ZL1. That's an amazing effort when no one thought you'd even make the top 4. Well done in proving the doubters wrong.
Watching the game I think from the start you guys were on top. Jeso tried hard but just didn't seem to have it on the day.Poor Jeso defenders might still be trying to catch the 2 up front if the whistle hadn't gone already. Boy they are fast. 3-1 was a fitting result, but could've been more had the keeper not been solid.
Credit to Jeso on such a great season though. Undefeated takes a lot of effort and something definitely to celebrate.
Well done to all teams on making it such a tight comp. Looking forward to seeing how next year goes.
