What day time they kick off??

    What's everyones tip??

I expect the Maitland Edgy tie to be pretty tight early but expect Edgy to be convincing winners

Magic Olympic i expect Olympic to just shade it
Edgy will be too good for Maitland, have won both games comfortably.
Magic to beat Olympic, Ireland not playing will be the difference

I thought he already did this for this year?
That's it, passionate. Definitey a polarising character though.

Did to a point, but think he needed to know the club was set up and stable enough going in to 2017. Has done a great job in my opinion, now there is plenty of " smart " operators involved, the club will be fine going forward.

Does this pave the way for Steve Wright to return to the club? Hamilton will be a lot quieter now.

I doubt very much that he will return to Azzurri, he is set up at Lakes and looks like taking them to the NPL in 2017. I am sure there would still be bad blood with many others still at Whitebridge.

He was never one to do too much but mouth off, as for setting the club up for 2017, he took that club back 10 years not forward

    OK ease up.
We have no clubs if not for volunteers and none deserve to be bagged out by keyboard warriors on the forum or anywhere else.

You may not like the guy or the way he operates but respect goes both ways.
Respect the fact that he has given hundreds of hours each year for many years to allow players to play for CCB.
Unlike players and even officials, volunteers don't get paid - they do what they do because they are passionate about their club.

Those that bag out volunteers lose my respect.

If he did then that should be dealt with by the federation.
I am not justyfing his every action - I have never spoken to the bloke.

I am saying that criticising volunteers is poor form.
He may have done some things poorly or not to everyones liking but the guy has clearly put a lot of blood sweat and tears into the club over the years.
For the benefit of who? A hundred or so players, coaches, parents and supporters each year most of whom never lift a finger to assist the club.

NPL clubs are currently screaming about the dwindling volunteer base they have.
Perhaps if volunteers got a few more thank yous rather than criticism we might have more volunteers.

Received email from NNSWF via our Club Secretary today- they are not changing decision on age groups.
It will be 20’s with 5 overaged players permitted - with a few rules around those players.

I'm wondering how this is going to affect NPL clubs culture wise. I think that was the main discussion around this
    change, wasn't it?
Not that it’s going to affect us anyway but as an NPL aspirational club it's something we'll need to look at mid to long term.

Don't think FR needs a reminder on what it is to be a volunteer at a club.

Agreed. Seems much easier to sit behind a screen and criticise.

Wouldn't the same rules apply to NPL2? (if there is one).

Somehow I can't see 16 NPL compliant clubs to form an 'NPL2'.
