    TALKING POINTS:
    Memorable Match - 3/3/2012. Round 22, Season 2011/12
The Jets were on a good run in 2012, having lost only once in 6 matches. Facing a Victory team boasting Harry Kewell, the Jets struck after 20 minutes through Ryan Griffiths. Kewell converted a controversial penalty on 24 minutes before youngster Jacob Pepper popped up and scored a double in 9 minutes before half time to give the Jets a 3-1 lead. This would be the final score and continue the Jets mid-season revival and run to the finals.

    General
The Jets lost 3-1 to Victory in the Round of 32 in this year's FFA Cup
The Jets have not beaten the Victory in the last 3 fixtures, and didn't score in 2 of those matches

    Newcastle Jets
The Jets have never won a game played on a Monday night on 9 previous occasions
The Jets are currently undefeated in 3 matches

    Melbourne Victory
Marcos Rojas has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in his last 3 appearances against the Jets.
Victory have won all of their previous 8 fixtures played on a Monday night
This game is being played in Geelong on a Monday night. No one knows why.

Giant game that will determine the club's future.

    Victory 1-3 Jets.

Some Victory fans will boo Nabbout. Other Victory fans will boo those who are booing Nabbout, and will counter the booing by applauding Nabbout loudly. It will be very confusing, and difficult for the television audience to grasp the nuances of the situation.

The controversy will be worsened by Broxham taking out Nabbout in a very ugly tackle. Yellow card at least; hopefully a red.

Nabbout will go on to score a brace. Sugar or Brown will knock in the other, which will be a ripper from outside the box, assisted by a deflection.

    Victory 2-1
Jets to play well but squander a heap of good chances. Victory to get some shit goals off mistakes or poor defense from us.

    Jets 2 - 1 Victory

Us to probably concede early in the game to bring out usual commentator dialect. Jets to storm home with nordstrand and Hoole to put one each in the back of the net.

Will be a thoroughly entertaining game with muscat to put blame on his players rather than his own ineptness.

Chinese bloke to have a stormer, immediately leave the club.
Jones to mutter something under his breath.
Lowey to link us with 15 terrible players.
lose by about 3 or 4.

The navy blues had a regulation 4-1 win over Central Coast in hot and steamy conditions in Melbourne on Wednesday night and will expect to pick up another three points when they host Newcastle Jets in Geelong on Monday.
They are expecting a walk over, so if we don't take that seriously we could be in deep sh*t on a hiding to nothing...
Life isn't the same without Con... but it can only improve without Tinks...

Anyone heading to the Premier - unfortunately it's apparently closed on public holidays. Head to SJ's instead.
