That the type of positive signing we need to be making in the window.

how is he better? He has played 5 games since he left SFC in 2015.
We have enough players susceptible to injury, we don't need any more.

    How is he not??
He is a superior player to Kanta, Poljak and Sugar

He would be our no 1 CM if he was here

    Why?
Two seasons ago he was great maybe, but no way with only 5 games in at least 18 months is he better than anyone currently.
And you have rocks in your head if you think that there are many players in his position better than Stevie.

Brandan O'Neill is in now way better than Stevie.

He'll be playing right back for the Mariners in two years.

I agree. He's got Maltese Super League potential for sure.
He could though be a late bloomer like Jedinak.

Whilst I agree ugarkovic is quality I totally disagree with Antonis being no good. I agree with the member that he would be a walk up starter in our team once back to decent fitness.

So would jason culina and look how well that turned out. He may have been good and may one day be good again but how is using a spot up on a bloke who has played 5 games in 18 months make sense. Realistically hes at least 6 weeks away from match fitness if he can stay fit. Surely we should be aiming higher than long term injured players.

So has Antonis been injured in Greece that why he not playing or just not Ltd selected??

On another note didn't Brillante barely play the last 2 years overseas and he seems to be making a decent fist of this ALEAGUE malarkey??

FFS Devon Head makes a career of never playing at at club for long spells before turning up somewhere new at nd looking good for a bit

The Marketing / PR behind Antonis is the only thing professional about him. He's never come remotely close to living up to the hype and never will.
Good on him for making good coin without ever looking the part though.

Pretty sure Brillante kicked around consistently with a serie B side or 2. However, I've no idea what Antonio has done

Kristian Sarkies was allso a fringe Socceroo. Antonis is about the same standard.
Antonis is going to Wanderers on loan for the rest of the season. Great news. Looking forward to watching him have one good moment and being referred to as the second coming by the usual suspects at Fox and SBS. There is definitely payola from player managers going to Fox and SBS commentators.
Nothing else can justify the love for these players with absolutely no runs on the board being fapped over.
