if your referring to Mr Lee doesn't he only own the jets and a second division Chinese team? I know he sponsors the Portuguese second division but didnt think he had a team there

Not sarcastic. Journos in this country usually take shit like that a run a mile when it comes to slamming football in this country. Do you actually know the outcome though? It wasn't really that widely reported.
It is the first time i think i can say, if that was a Rugby League player it would have been much bigger news.

Wonder if that has something to do with the fact that MC immediately stood him down while investigating and, despite no charges, still suspended him. They were pretty swift in their actions and it didn't drag out at all.

I know people see it as rich clubs getting the best deal but hell im all for it. The more big names here the better... its all good publicity for our sport!

Clubs can have a Marquee and an Aussie Marquee outside the cap.

We are already seeing a comp with the haves and have nots

Some clubs can't even find a marquee so why should a club be allowed a 3rd??

Heart have the cash yes but should have been made to fit him in under the other 2 marquee slots

All you will see now is Smurfs GLORY wsw and Victree exploiting this loop hole more and more further widening the gap between us Gypos nix etc

When has a team with the biggest marquees actually won the competition?
Do they really create a gap in the competition? I don't think they really do.

This is for big names, bums on seats players. I think the good publicity and attendances will far out weigh the "gap" caused.
