Great finish from Austin. Would take in a heartbeat even with the gypo status

The only positive about a gypo win is that they will still be behind us at the end of the weekend.

Just shows how bad we are when we let the team that are down by 3 to the gypos beat us last week

Occurred to me that we could have done some major damage last week if we had some front third capability. Mariners proved that was possible.

Their attack and our defence would be a decent team.

    Merge?

2 pro filthy gypo comments. Sadly, you are on traitor notice. 3rd time, a gypo shirt will be worn and all hair cut off

Mariners v Victory game confirmed just how shit the jets are when it comes to scoring goals.
It also confirms Miller is completely out of his depth and that Sydney are going to destroy the Jets.

I hate gypos as much as the next bloke but I was looking forward to seeing Muscat lose it in the presser if they went down by three or more goals.

Don't tempt fate. I have for a while now had nightmares that this would be an option for the FFA should no buyer come forth for the Jets. One team north of Syd to represent the entire C Coast , Newcastle and Hunter. By doing this you free up a spot for another Syd team and you still have a 10 team comp.

Mariners only got a gig as nobody else was interested in 2004.

If Wollongong, Canberra or Geelong had their shit together they would be there now and it wouldn't even be a thought.

Blame Griff - we took a home game down there in 2002 and he got them thinking of getting on the bandwagon....
