    but

shes got the tough road ahead now. the gun laws are gonna be her moment. i honestly believe lots and lots and lots of folks changed votes to John Howard based on his stance on Port Arthur alone.
if she 'actually' gets change in her countries' laws in such a monumental way, it will be the stuff that real leaders are made of.
hate on policy all you want, but give me a leader with the balls to take on the biggest of issues. ill vote for you every time.

which is why Labor agreed to the bullshit intrusive surveillance laws late last year

the threat of something happening before May is high, they can't be seen to have hindered surveillance in any way otherwise your Duttons and ScoMos will jump on them were something to happen

Christchurch will have knocked a fair bit of wind out of their fear-of-brown-people rhetoric though

still time for more boats to arrive

This is the part where I'm really sympathetic towards politicians.

Everyone has been pointing fingers at them, and 'the social medias' for not stopping this lunatic, and for letting hate breed on the Interwebs.

But they come up with what they believe to be measures that will help and everyone is like "Oh hell nawwww".

If someone at ASIO wants to take the time and effort to go through my browser history in the hope of preventing a terror attack then fine. All they'll find is one entry into my search engine 'Hutcho crying'.

    That's it.

Politicians do as they are told - few of them throughout history have ever been the ones actually calling the shots.
The politicians that do call the shots we refer to as dictators.

The only exception I can think of in the last 50 years has been Whitlam. The Union movement hated him as did the conservatives and the majority of the Labour Party.

All the others have pretty much been puppets for the plutocrats.

They've already been there. And would have done it before new security laws.

So when does everyone have to go for their new dna swab? Fair few ex?crims being caught out with this.

well thats another discussion altogether, it just makes me giggle that people out there think that their private lives are actually that.

my point is that we have all the powers to solve a crime, yet the second they want to try and 'prevent' a crime, then people out there worried about getting busted searching for cat porn*.

*all the while uploading every single facet of their lives onto social media for everyone to see anyway. dopes.

But those pointing their fingers at the politicians and the social media companies are clueless as they are the least of our problems

We have an 18 year old in NZ up for 14 years for sharing a video of last Friday

We have a journo in UK in strife with the police for mis gendering someone who is apparently now claiming they are not a male despite being born as a male

We have Cambridge University the great bastian of alleged intelllect banning Jordan Peterson withdrawing their offer of fellowship to the academic because the leftists at the campus had a sook instead of dealing with his opinions (Which they cant as he is smarter than them )

Great world we seem to be living in

Society is being ****ed over by idiots on a daily basis and nut jobs going to mosques seem to be the least of our worries

Yeah, i think 49 people being killed is a lot worse than you getting offended by some bullshit you read online. Society isn't getting ****ed, it's just a never ending shit show of snowflakes getting offended by snowflakes who get offended when the snowflakes they offended get offended by them. You can decide which snowflake you are in this scenario but it's all the same bullshit with different colour hats/profile pictures.

Step back, take a look at the world and realise that the big picture is pretty good right now. We just need to get through this batch of "head in the sand* politicians and then there will be a new set of issues that will slowly be dealt with.

Ooof. Can't even laugh at that because he's so dumb, if he could read this he would think you are being sincere.

The only good thing about Trumpfs presidency is that everyone now knows the POTUS is only a figure head and has no real power.

I love how people think that Trump got there because he is dumb.
Getting to be President of the USA as an outsider despite 'everyone' thinking youre a dope.
Nah man, that's brilliance if ever I've seen it.

But yeah, you are right about the amount of 'power' they have.

It's just always funny that despite all of them being the same, people look back at the jobs Clinton, Bush and Obama did with waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy different memories.

    World is quite good now??

If anything the last week will have only further empowered the far left and far right even more

Elections are on tomorrow and in 2 months.

I backing One Nations vote will go up rather than down

Western Civilization is on the downward spiral and it really only a matter of relevance to us if the shitfest actually lasts long enough that we live long enough before the wheels really come off

this will be a very interesting part of the election.
because Latham has def given them a boost and legitimised a bunch of policy*.

also no surprise that Pauline hasnt been showing her face down these parts.
if One Nation had better salespeople their party might be a proper force in the political arena.

*a lot of the policy that Latham is spruiking with One Nation is the same stuff he was selling back when he was the wannabe PM.

You don't know anything about Cambridge member. Firstly, it consists of many different colleges - it's not a single campus as you seem to think.

Peterson requested a visiting Fellowship - it was never offered to him prior to his request to visit. People far more intelligent than Peterson have been refused Fellowships to Colleges of Cambridge - Augustus De Morgan, George Green... these blokes dropped turds with higher IQ's than Peterson.

It's only been in recent times that married men were allowed to accept fellowships from the majority of colleges at Cambridge - which you don't seem to know consists of many different colleges.

The major colleges of Cambridge such as Trinity, Gonville and Caius, Peterhouse, Kings, and so on have a long history of being religiously rigorous to say the least - and far from left wing.

In fact, the colleges of Cambridge were among the last in England to accept Dissenters - most of them instead taking up positions at University College in London.

They offered it to him and it was going ahead

    Their choice

Then they rescinded the offer after complaints from leftards

Just the usual BS where the left try silencing the likes of Shapiro Owens Milo Peterson etc with bullying and censoring tactics
Not the first time and wont be the last

Peterson is a bizarre one as he isnt really that much of a threat to them with the subjects he touches staying well clear of race or religion unlike the others who do get more involved in that

Just to show how ****ed up things are the Kiwis have withdrawn access to his book 12 Rules for Life a self help type book for **** knows what legitimate reason

Strange thing to do after the Christchurch incident

Same group though who have withdrawn his book from sale are still currently selling Hitlers book Mein Kampf so the hypocrisy is bizarre
