cycling in the inner west is a death wish anyway.

some of the city cycleways are also garbage if you ride clipless pedals as well, uphill through the west-east section of the CBD coupled with traffic lights on terrible timings, on the uphill sections every 100 metres. plus it just stops when you cross pitt street - and there's no space to ride anyway. wouldn't be so bad if people didn't have a pathological hatred of blokes riding pushies, i don't even bother in the city anymore. you just get absolutely slammed for space, not pleasant at all.

the CBD and most of the inner west just isn't a nice place to ride. it could be if they built a path with the inner west light rail (which they didn't), and in tandem with the parra rd and anzac pde metro (which they wont't)....but we are dealing with baird and his idiot mate duncan gay here. common sense doesn't always reign supreme.

just seeing this disgusting appearance by Cardinal Pell, where he showed zero empathy for children who's life he let these paedophiles ruin, seeing our god bothering premier #casinomike implement the nanny state and attack cyclists, along with Tony Abbott rear his deluded head and show how foul a person he really is

it's made me think of these beautiful words by the one and only JC, who put it so well

    Brilliant song.

Have been told that on Thursday and Friday throughout the Sydney CBD that the police were handing out fines to a shit load full of riders without bells.

I don't have a bell on any of my bikes and My Gran was Jewish so I'm glad I wasn't in the Sydney CBD on Thursday or Friday as I would have been sent straight to the shower block.

See, there's no way him becoming President will be a 'great' thing. But exactly what are the others offering that make them any better (on both sides).

It's gone way beyond the levels of the tea party/occupy movt/Bernie sanders love fest. There are a LOT of people who are on his side, and they are either really really smart, or really really dumb.

And I'm not exactly sure which one it is.

Sanders is a good man with good people backing him. He would without a doubt be the best choice for the majority of Americans.
However I'm not an American so I'll be cheering for Trump to get in and go down in history as the fifth US President alongside Abe Lincoln, James Garfield, William McKinley, and JFK to be "retired" by a disgruntled citizen.

These sort of things deserve intense coverage by the media but I hate the fallout on social media afterwards by people who want be involved and become part of it.

Part of the reason for todays high stress levels is that people become too hung up about people they don't know.

I'd much rather people spend more time fixing the problem and addressing the real issue rather than thinking filters and hashtags are a legit substitute.
