ACL 2016 - AKA the "where's Carney" thread

Step right up and enjoy the same view that ol' devon head has of the ACL. Feels good to be in the great man's company.

Victory up 1-0 at half time.

I'm enjoying my former club's performance, but not enough to remove the "former" bit from it.

    Carney-esque marking for Shanghai's goal.

Also good work by the ball boy to stop a strong opportunity for Shanghai.

I loved how after it was apparent that the first contact was outside the box, he started saying that it should still be a penalty as the intent to stop him was there.

I look forward to that argument being put for shots being counted as goals, as the intent to score was there.

What a run by carney. Amazing vision to ignore the two guys open on his right.

Can't wait for the obvious Smurf claim....we beat the ACL champions ergo we are the best team in Asia.

Will now drop the importance of the A-League as they have bigger fish to fry.

They'll get smashed in the return leg in China. "grunjo"s lack of fitness showed last night and with their season underway they'll be primed to get one back. Can not see Sydney making it out of the group stages. Victory however have a bit of a chance after last nights result

Also I was one who thought Jurman was an effing muppet and rubbished him when we were linked with him from Brisbane. I honestly believe he is one of the form defenders in the league as of late. Although he does have Ryall Grant and Fattyboy making him look better.

Who's the baby wearing long sleeves and gloves for sydney? Is it hoole? It's 16 degrees ffs. Clearly not running hard enough if you're getting cold at that temp.

How good is the ref wearing blue shirt and dark shorts just like the Sydney players.

    Tops.
