Was anyone at training this morning? I went, looks as if Devante will be left out. Also saw Lei Lei had a bit of a dummy spit at Jones, after Jones told him not to use the outside of his foot.

Fell bad for lei lei, cant speak english, cant get involved with banter
Seriously? - he told him not to use the outside of his foot? That's like a tennis coach telling a player not to hit backhands. f#%&ing stupid...

    Brennan about to be released:

Are we gonna have a big enough squad after we release these three but only have eyes for signing wankles?

Apparently our entire future depended on Bridge coming to the club, Just ask Jones. Not another oz player anywhere in the whole wide world apparently worth a look.

I agree you never tell the media who your planning to sign cause at the very least their price gets jumped up.

With the CSL changing the rules to only allow 3 foreigners to be on the field at any time and having to have 2 U23's in the 18 man squad, as well as one of those U23's in the starting 11, I bet there will be plenty of Aussie talent on the move in the near future.

I sort of found it bizarre that with the Chinese signing the likes of Oscar Tevez etc they were also interested in shit **** Australian players

It ain't like they can't find better players on the planet who were Japanese Korean and still fit into the Asian allowance

Don't mean any of them are actually talented.

Couldn't even beat Thailand last start FFS

On another note the FFA have today announced the HAL clubs are going to have to have an AFC foreigner in their squads

Surprisingly other than the Japanese at Wankers and the Chinese Messi here none of the other teams do
Clubs are going to have a couple of years to fall into line though

So Jonesy would rather risk Brown injuring himself further than give Kokko a start? I assume also he'd want to play Brown out of position again, so it would be ineffective anyway, hmmm...

Article says Leilei will play wide. But I agree, Kokko needs to start to see what he offers

If Brown is out is it not obvious to put Ma out wide, Nobby in the number 10 Kokko in front of him?

If Brown is in it will just be a straight swap with Ma moving wide.

    Just sayin'

Ma didnt impress me against perth looked out of his depth, which is odd when he's looked great off the bench.

Gees i love football, two people can see two different things.
I thought he was one of our best. He is so light on his feet, i really enjoy watching him play.

I thought it was his best performance to date. His passing at times was average (Straight to perth) but he also made a fair few fantastic passes and some lovely one touch/flick passes that lead to chances.

He is our best deadball player, easily.

With more game time I think he'll get better, and I was one of the skeptics.
